The unexpected duo, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, recently showed up together, exceeding the expectations of fans beyond imagination.

On June 6th, the couple graced the wedding of Tanner Corum, the star tight end’s cousin from the Kansas City Chiefs, and his bride Samantha Peck, which took place in Knoxville, Tennessee. This event left numerous other attendees completely charmed.

Cheyenne Wade Rust, one of many who were fortunate enough to meet Taylor during our Corum celebrations, shared her experience on Instagram. She was just as warm, approachable, and enchanting as one could imagine. What a dreamlike, star-studded encounter that I’ll cherish forever!

Taylor Swift chose a stunning strapless, pale blue floral gown called “Rousseau” from Markarian’s spring-summer 2025 collection for her wedding. She accessorized the dress with gold jewelry – a necklace, bracelet, and earrings that dropped – and styled her hair in loose waves.

Travis was wearing a brown-and-white checked collar shirt with tan trousers, and they were both seen grasping flutes filled with what seemed to be champagne.

In the initial stages of her relationship with Travis, Taylor happened to meet the bride and groom. Samantha posted pictures from her outing with the famous singer known as “Cruel Summer” and the NFL player Tanner on Instagram in December 2023, which was a few months into their dating life together in Kansas City, Missouri.

Taylor and Travis’ evening on their wedding day, which wasn’t their initial one, transpired a few days following their joint appearance in Florida. They seemed jovial throughout the occasion, with Travis greeting fans as they left a restaurant, exclaiming “Hey, folks!” and “Enjoy your night, everyone!

Not only is Taylor victorious, but on May 30th, she triumphantly declared that she had acquired ownership of the master recordings for her initial six albums. This newfound possession grants her command over her own music, culminating a six-year struggle.

Travis acknowledged Tay Tay on his June 4 episode of the “New Heights” podcast with his brother Jason Kelce, saying, “Kudos to Tay Tay!” He revealed that he had just re-purchased all her songs, implying that she now fully owned them.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romantic journey commenced in July 2023, as her Eras Tour passed through Kansas City, Missouri, with a performance at Arrowhead Stadium.

As a devoted Swift fan, the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end eagerly watched the performance, hoping to present Taylor Swift with a friendship bracelet bearing his number. Unfortunately, he was unable to make the connection because of her pre-performance routines.

Travis explained on his New Heights podcast on July 26th that he felt let down because she doesn’t chat before or after her concerts, as she needs to conserve her voice for the 44 songs she sings. Consequently, he was a tad disappointed he couldn’t give her one of the bracelets he crafted for her.

Following his notorious slip-up, which Travis himself would label as “rock solid,” he mustered up courage and extended an invitation to the Grammy-winning artist, proposing they attend the Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium together.

As I expressed on The Pat McAfee Show, I tossed out an invitation, essentially placing the ball in her court. I communicated to her something like this: “I’ve observed your electrifying performances at Arrowhead, perhaps you could return the favor and witness me doing my thing there as well, so we can compare who lights up the stage more.” So, let’s wait and see what unfolds in the coming days.

During their initial meeting, Travis was sporting a mustache that he had grown earlier in August while at the training camp, which added a distinctive charm to his appearance.

Later on, he mentioned that during that period, his mustache along with the number 87 jersey became quite famous for a while, and interestingly enough, he was wearing them when he first met Taylor.

According to a reliable source familiar with the matter, by early September, TopMob News learned that Travis and Taylor had been exchanging occasional texts and phone calls.

“It’s been very low-key,” the insider explained, “as he’s been in season.”

Following Travis’ invitation, Taylor went to Arrowhead Stadium to watch Donna Kelce, the athlete’s mom, and Travis with the Chiefs facing off against the Chicago Bears. Post-game, pictures emerged of Taylor and Travis sharing affectionate moments at a nearby bar.

Initially, rumors suggested their encounter was their first face-to-face moment, but later, the “Karma” singer explained they had actually spent a considerable period building their relationship prior to that meeting.

As Taylor noted, “We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.” 

To show signs of their deepening bond, Taylor invited her friends such as Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sophie Turner, Hugh Jackman, Sabrina Carpenter and Antoni Porowski to witness the Chiefs versus New York Jets game at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

It’s another indication that Travis might be “The One.” Taylor has been growing closer to Brittany Mahomes, who is married to Travis’ good friend and teammate Patrick Mahomes, not just within NFL matches, but also in their personal lives.

On October 14th, the couple unexpectedly joined the Saturday Night Live broadcast, making their relationship more public on television. They further captured New York City with their presence by attending the after-party for the NBC sketch show and having a romantic evening at the Waverly Inn.

During his league’s break week, Travis took a trip to Argentina for the South American leg of Taylor’s Eras Tour. Not only did the NFL player build a connection with Scott Swift, Taylor’s father, at the November 11th concert in Buenos Aires, but he was also given a special mention from the stage.

“Karma is that guy on the Chiefs,” Taylor sang, “coming straight home to me.”

Following the performance, the artist from the Midnights concert was spotted rushing towards Travis off-stage and embracing him warmly with an intense kiss.

Taylor addressed the lavender craze surrounding her appearances at Travis’ games.

She shared with Time magazine, “I’m going to witness him pursuing his passion, we’re supporting each other, there are others present and it doesn’t bother us.” In contrast, she mentioned that maintaining secrecy about a relationship requires an excessive amount of effort to ensure privacy.

 

On December 17th, the music megastar made Travis’ game a special event for the whole family by inviting her father to support him.

Taylor and Travis celebrated their first New Year’s Eve together, exchanging a loving kiss as the clock hit twelve on January 1st.

Taylor continued to grow closer to Travis’ kin, spending time with his brother, Jason Kelce, and Kylie Kelce, his sister-in-law, at the Kansas City Chiefs matchup against the Buffalo Bills.

On the football field where the Chiefs clinched the AFC Championship, Taylor joined hands with Travis. This triumphant win secured their place in the 2024 Super Bowl. Overjoyed, they locked lips for a celebratory kiss and confessed their love for one another by exchanging “I love you.

On February 11, 2024, following Travis’s leadership that secured a win for the Kansas City Chiefs in Las Vegas, the couple passionately kissed on the field.

On February 12th, Taylor shared playful videos of Travis from social media platforms, teasing about their unconventional post-Super Bowl outing where they took her parents clubbing together with the athlete.

Taylor’s initial Instagram post, which included Travis, was a selfie taken with Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, during a backstage meeting at the Eras tour concert by the singer at Wembley Stadium in London.

At his seventh Eras tour concert and the second show in London’s Wembley Stadium, the NFL player stepped onto the stage to assist his girlfriend during her rendition of “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.

Over the final weekend of 2024, they ventured out together for successive dates in New York City, coordinating their attire on each occasion.
