As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I can’t help but get excited about the latest developments from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. The news of SEGA filing new trademarks for Project Century has sent waves of anticipation through the gaming community.
On December 10th, Sega submitted new trademarks in Japan that appear to be linked to the team behind their recently revealed “Project Century,” which is part of the “Like a Dragon” series developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio.
In the trailer for Project Century, the main character’s jacket bears the first brand name, “Yashima Trade Company” (as it’s known in English). A second emblem representing this company is similarly visible on the character’s jacket too.
It’s plausible that the third trademarked name, “City of Wars,” wasn’t shown in the trailer. Since it was submitted along with the other two, and considering Project Century‘s 1915 urban backdrop, we might speculate that “City of Wars” is a title or subtitle for the project.
