Sega Football Club Champions 2025 Announced – Free-to-Play Management Title Launches This Year

Instead of releasing Football Manager 25 as planned, Sports Interactive decided to focus on the next installment in the series. In its place, Sega is introducing a new game: Sega Football Club Champions 2025, scheduled for global release this year. This free-to-play title will be available on PS4, PS5, PC through Steam, as well as iOS and Android devices. Here’s the first trailer for your viewing pleasure.

Referred to as a “football management simulator” driven by Football Manager, Sega Football Club Champions 2025 features two primary play modes. In Career Mode, you construct and oversee your team, while Dream Team focuses on online competition against other players. Engage in the Arena and Special Matches, or arrange Room Matches for a more personalized experience.

Approximately 10,000 professional footballers are expected to join various teams globally. Japan’s J1-J3 leagues, FIFPRO, K League, and Manchester City F.C. will contribute around 1,500 players. The remaining players have not been disclosed yet, but Sega has partnered with multiple leagues worldwide.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m excited to share that I’ve got a chance to be one of the first to join the closed beta for this upcoming game! Keep an eye on my screen in the next few months as I’ll be sharing more juicy details like extra gameplay features and monetization plans.
