Despite the final episode of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” being largely appreciated, executive producer Jeff Schaffer voiced his opinions to The Wrap about those who had problems with it.
Schaffer clarified that what they intended was a climax reminiscent of the finale of ‘Seinfeld’ amplified by steroids. Schaffer pondered, “In other words, the storyline of Susan in a blonde wig, wheelchair-bound and reluctantly joining Larry, which ultimately backfires on him – these are the kind of Curb tales that are unfolding and reaching their climax within the court trial itself.
