On her site, it’s mentioned: ‘Please keep this a secret from Alex Russo, but we’re giving away her renowned wand to one fortunate trainee witch or wizard. The magical abilities are not included in the sale.’
The images clearly indicated that during the auction, only a solitary $4 wand was being offered. However, it’s still uncertain whether this was indeed Russo’s wand or just one of many similar items.

In a promotion she organized, Selena Gomez included the wand as part of her “12 Days of Really Rare Stuff” event. This campaign aligns with the “past, present, and future” concept from her upcoming album collaboration with Benny Blanco, titled “I Said I Loved You First“. The countdown for this giveaway led up to the album’s release on March 21st.
