On the first night of WrestleMania, an intense Triple Threat match took place among three WWE giants: CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns. The action was non-stop from the get-go, with brawls in the crowd and even announce tables shattering at ringside. Despite numerous close calls, the game-changer was Paul Heyman. Initially, he seemed to offer an olive branch to Reigns by turning against Punk, but then Heyman surprised everyone by betraying Rollins as well, aligning with him instead. This unexpected move allowed Rollins to use a chair and defeat Reigns, making him a new associate of Paul Heyman. From now on, the landscape of WWE will never be the same.

From the get-go, the contest was fiercely contested, and it didn’t take much time for the action to overflow into the audience. Punk pursued Rollins with a chair, landing a hit, but swiftly, Rollins retaliated with a blow to the head from a trash can, followed by another strike to his back and yet another hit from the trash can to the head. Rollins managed to secure another trash can, but eventually, he found himself on the receiving end as Rollins reversed the situation, slamming him onto the trash can, inflicting significant pain in the process.

After temporarily leaving the scene, Reigns re-entered the fray by unexpectedly eliminating Rollins and Punk. The excitement level escalated as the action approached the ring. At this juncture, Reigns seized command of the match, dispatched Punk and targeted Rollins within the ring. However, Punk soon regained his footing and turned the tables, delivering knee strikes to both Reigns and Rollins before executing a simultaneous DDT on them.

At the peak of the ring, Rollins encountered Punk first, but then Reigns strategically hoisted him at just the right height for Punk’s clothesline. As Punk spun around, he was unexpectedly struck by Reigns’ Superman Punch. This was swiftly followed by a powerful one-handed slam from Reigns. However, Punk retaliated with a vicious anaconda vice hold. Rollins intervened with a daring frog splash, and later on, he delivered a buckle bomb to Reigns, leaving only him standing.

In the heat of the match, Rollins focused on Punk, swiftly evading a spear from Reigns before retaliating with a Pedigree and a curb-stomp. He shoved Punk out of the ring, aimed for the pin on Reigns, but Reigns managed to stay alive. Rollins’ attack missed, leading to him being speared by Reigns. This gave Punk an opportunity, but even the GTS wasn’t sufficient, as Reigns continued to fight back.

Seth attacked Punk with a move called Pedigree, but Punk managed to survive the attack. This is when Rollins approached Reigns and said that Punk doesn’t fit here. He added that neither the Bloodline nor Moxley were on their side, and they decided to gang up on Punk. However, Reigns unexpectedly attacked Rollins instead, knocking him off the commentary table. The force of the impact shattered the table. Later, Reigns threw Rollins into the ring, delivered a spear, and tried to pin him down. Incredibly, Rollins somehow managed to kick out just before the referee could count three.

In the ring, Reigns pushed Punk back, clearly annoyed by the advantage and Heyman’s allegiance to Punk. In the center of the arena, Reigns applied a guillotine choke on Punk, but Punk countered it, coming close to winning. Punk attempted an anaconda vice and succeeded, but Rollins managed to stand up. Rollins retaliated with a sharpshooter, only for Reigns to try another guillotine on Rollins. Rollins momentarily broke free with a suplex, then immediately reapplied it. Punk stamped on Reigns’ head and delivered the GTS to Rollins. Punk covered Rollins, but he managed to kick out.

During the match, Punk performed the GTS on Rollins but was speared by Reigns afterwards. Both Reigns and Punk ended up on the mat. At this point, Heyman picked up a steel chair and approached the ring. Looking at both Reigns and Punk, he handed the chair to Punk, then attacked Punk with a low blow and gave the chair to Reigns instead. With the upper hand, Reigns used the chair to hit Punk several times. However, Heyman saw that Rollins was open for an attack, so he struck Reigns with a low blow too, turning against both wrestlers before passing the chair to Rollins.

From the beginning, Heyman had his strategy set, and now, Rollins found himself in possession of the chair, focusing squarely on Reigns. With precision, Rollins used the chair against Reigns before delivering the curb stomp, ultimately securing the win and the pin. As a result, Seth Rollins is now aligned with Paul Heyman, and everything that follows will undoubtedly be distinct.
