Sexyy Red Returning to WWE NXT

Sexyy Red Returning to WWE NXT

As a long-time wrestling enthusiast who has been following WWE since the Attitude Era, I must say that the upcoming NXT premiere on The CW is making me jump for joy! Having witnessed the transformation of NXT from a developmental brand to a powerhouse in its own right, I am excited to see it move to broadcast television.

The upcoming NXT premiere on The CW is drawing near, yet WWE continues to beef up the episodes’ initial lineup. Tonight’s episode kicked off with a contract signing between Ethan Page and Trick Williams for their impending NXT Championship bout. Prior to their ring entrance, NXT General Manager Ava Raine announced that the upcoming show would also mark the comeback of music sensation Sexyy Red. Red previously served as special host for NXT Battleground this year, and now she’ll be ushering in a new phase for NXT with her appearance.

A Big Move

Dennis Miller, President of The CW Network, expressed his excitement about incorporating the WWE brand into our sports collection. This addition aligns with our goal to consistently provide live sports programming throughout the year. The energetic and rising stars of WWE NXT make it an ideal match for The CW due to its vibrant young talent and unpredictable weekly shows. Moreover, the fervor and dedication of WWE’s fans is exceptional, and we can’t wait to expand that fanbase as WWE NXT finds its new home on broadcast television.

I’m thrilled about it! As a fan, I can’t help but be excited about the upcoming debut of NXT on The CW. It’s an incredible step forward for live sports programming on their network, as stated by Nick Khan, WWE President. This marks the first time that NXT will air on broadcast television – a significant milestone in its history.
