Shangri-La Frontier Season 2 Drops New Poster

Shangri-La Frontier Season 2 Drops New Poster

As a seasoned gamer and long-time anime enthusiast, I must say that “Shangri-La Frontier” is a gem hidden among the vast digital landscapes of modern animation. While it may initially remind one of the well-known Isekai series like Sword Art Online or Log Horizon, it offers a refreshing twist on the genre – one where our protagonist Rakuro Hizutome isn’t trapped but is instead using his skills honed from playing “trash games” to excel in this new MMORPG setting.

In essence, “Shangri-La Frontier” could be set within a digital world similar to that of “Sword Art Online” and “Log Horizon,” but it’s not an Isekai in the traditional sense. Instead, protagonist Rakuro Hizutome interacts with this virtual environment as if it were simply a game. Though he doesn’t find himself stuck inside the game and battling for survival, the anime still delivers intense action and a captivating narrative. Interestingly, “Shangri-La Frontier” concluded its first season in March of this year, yet a second season is scheduled to premiere this fall, accompanied by a new poster highlighting its familiar characters.

If you haven’t seen it yet, “Shangri-La Frontier” is an anime series that you should definitely consider watching. Its appeal lies particularly with gamers who are fans of From Software games like “Dark Souls,” “Bloodborne,” and “Elden Ring.” This anime offers a massive virtual world, where the main character leverages his experience with supposedly inferior games to rise to fame as a legend within the new MMORPG environment he encounters. Excitingly, season two is scheduled for release on October 13th this autumn.

Shangri-La Frontier Will Return

Previously, Rakuro had successfully defeated a significant adversary in the video game Wethermon The Tomb Guard alongside his allies. Consequently, their identities are now widely recognized across the game world. It’s clear that this victory will bring about some substantial advantages and disadvantages as they move forward into the second season.

Deciding to test his limits, he takes on a highly-regarded game called Shangri-La Frontier. However, he soon discovers that it’s much more challenging than he anticipated. Can his expertise help him uncover its hidden mysteries?”
