In the recent episode of EastEnders, a mysterious revelation unfolded at The Queen Vic. However, the question remains: Who could be responsible for this secretive act?
As the enigma surrounding Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) Christmas Day assault persisted, the Knights grew wary of Ian Beale’s (Adam Woodyatt) intentions, suspecting he was letting unfaithful Cindy return to live with him out of ulterior motives.
Cindy’s daughters, Francesca Henry (Gina) and Molly Rainford (Anna), managed to persuade a hesitant George to join them in visiting Cindy.
But as George quizzed him on what he was really up to, Ian wouldn’t allow him access.
Under suspicion that Ian might have harmed Cindy, George’s wife Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) deceitfully asked Ian to join her at the pub. This was done to provide an opportunity for George to approach Cindy.
George warned Cindy against relying on Ian, as he possessed details about Ian’s involvement in concealing the demise of Denny Rickman (Bleu Landau).
Meanwhile, Ian soon worked out Elaine’s game, seeing right through her ‘offer’ to buy Beale’s Eels.
Returning hastily to the dwelling, Ian encountered George, who at that moment, was proposing that it was Ian causing Cindy’s wounds.
Ian retaliated by accusing George, goading him to the point where he hit Ian.
In response to George’s violent behavior, Ian maintained a haughty demeanor. George then departed, with Cindy left in stunned silence, claiming that George couldn’t harm her. Meanwhile, Ian made an effort to inform the authorities about the incident.
Back at The Vic, George retreated to the cellar, where Elaine found him brooding over his actions.
However, upon noticing what appeared to be a bloodstained footstep, along with a spade coated in what seemed to be blood, George, Elaine, and herself exchanged stunned glances.
