Shocking Dismissal: Diddy’s Lawsuit Thrown Out Over Anonymous Plaintiff!

A case against Sean “Diddy” Combs has been dismissed due to a legal formality.

Following a woman known as Jane Doe filing a sexual assault lawsuit against the rapper in October, U.S. District Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed the case on March 31. This was because the plaintiff failed to refile using her true identity by March 20, as indicated by court documents examined by TopMob News.

After a March 6 ruling that refused her request to remain anonymous during the lawsuit, this termination occurred.

According to court records dated March 31, 2025, the plaintiff has yet to submit the complaint under her own name. Furthermore, no request for extending the deadline for this action has been made.

After Linman’s decision, the document suggested, “Please, the Court Clerk is kindly instructed to conclude all active motions and timelines, and thereby wrap up this case.

Regarding the recent ruling, attorneys for Combs expressed their appreciation and determination to continue addressing the legal actions brought forth by attorney Tony Buzzbee, who in October 2024 reported over 120 individuals making allegations against Combs and subsequently filed multiple lawsuits, have now been dismissed.

Today, a federal judge threw out a lawsuit made against Mr. Combs, filed by attorney Anthony Buzbee of Texas and his associate Antigone Curis on behalf of an anonymous claimant, according to statements from Combs’ legal team. This marks the second time these lawyers have brought a case against Mr. Combs, only for it to be dismissed entirely. It won’t be the last time they face this outcome.

lawyers for Combs went on to say, “Time and again, we’ve encountered lawsuits initiated by individuals under anonymity, driven primarily by attorneys who prioritize media attention over legal substance. Similar cases, such as the one dismissed today, are also unlikely to stand up in a court of justice.

TopMob News has contacted Tony Buzbee concerning the latest court verdict and the remarks made by Combs’ legal team, however, we have yet to receive a response.

54-year-old Combs, who recently secured a minor legal victory, is now detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York due to federal charges involving racketeering and sex trafficking. His trial commences next month, and he has pleaded not guilty. He continues to assert his innocence against all ongoing accusations.

Federal agents associated with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) carried out searches at the residences of Sean “Diddy” Combs, located in Los Angeles and Miami, on March 25, according to multiple sources from law enforcement who spoke to NBC News. The warrant originated from the Southern District of New York, and an HSI spokesperson for New York confirmed to TopMob News that they executed enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI teams in Los Angeles, Miami, and local law enforcement partners. At the time the search warrants were executed, sources say Combs was in the Miami area.

News emerged concerning an investigation into Combs following numerous accusations of sexual misconduct made against him in lawsuits filed since November. The musician has refuted these allegations, stating through a December Instagram post: “I’m appalled by the false accusations being made against me for a quick profit. I want to make it crystal clear: I am innocent and will vigorously defend my reputation, my loved ones, and the truth.

The day following the execution of search warrants at both Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Los Angeles and Miami properties, his attorney Aaron Dyer issued a statement to TopMob News. In this statement, he criticized the excessive use of force during the searches, stating that it was unjustified and resulted in an unnecessarily hostile encounter for Combs’ children and employees.

Dyer clarified that Combs himself was not detained but willingly spoke with and cooperated with the authorities. He also emphasized that neither Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested or had their travel restricted, despite speculation to the contrary.

Dyer further argued that the aggressive approach taken by the authorities, combined with a coordinated media presence, has led to an early and unfair judgment against Combs, which he described as a witch hunt based on baseless accusations made in civil lawsuits.

In response, Dyer conveyed that Combs intended to vigorously defend himself. He further stated, “There has been no decision made regarding any criminal or civil charges in relation to these accusations. Mr. Combs maintains his innocence and will relentlessly strive every day to establish his clean reputation.

During the searches, it was reported by multiple law enforcement sources who are knowledgeable about the warrant, that authorities from the Department of Homeland Security took phones from Combs’ home in Miami prior to his planned trip to the Bahamas. Furthermore, several sources with relevant information stated that firearms were found during this search.

A person acquainted with the situation disclosed to NBC News that four individuals – three women and one man – were questioned by officials from the Southern District of New York regarding accusations involving sex trafficking, sexual assault, illegal drug distribution, and gun-related offenses, which are said to be associated with Combs.

On the same day that search warrants were executed at Combs’ properties in Miami and Los Angeles, one of his associates named Brendan Paul was apprehended by the Miami-Dade police on suspicion of drug possession. This information was shared with NBC News by a source knowledgeable about the situation. According to the arrest affidavit from Miami-Dade, Paul was detained for allegedly possessing suspected cocaine and marijuana candies. Records show that he was released on bond on March 26th. Brian Bieber, Paul’s attorney, said in a statement obtained by NBC News, “We do not intend to try this case in the media; all matters will be handled in court.” In May, Paul agreed to a plea deal, with his lawyer Bieber informing People magazine that “Brendan accepted the prosecutor’s offer to allow him into the diversion program. Upon completion of the program, the entire case against him will be dismissed.

On September 16, 2024, as reported by NBC News, an arrest took place in the lobby of a New York hotel. The individual in question is Diddy (Combs), but the specific charges against him have yet to be disclosed. It remains uncertain if this arrest has any connection with recent raids that occurred.

Mr. Combs’ legal representative, Marc Agnifilo, expressed disappointment over the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s decision to pursue a prosecution that they view as unfair towards Mr. Combs. Despite his imperfections, they maintain that he is not a criminal. In fact, Mr. Combs has been fully cooperative with this investigation and even moved to New York last week in preparation for these charges.

The lawyer added, “Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

Following the arrest of Combs on a sealed indictment, the charges against him were made public on September 17.

The 54-year-old is accused of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation for prostitution, according to court documents obtained by NBC News.

The indictment claims that Combs exploited, threatened, and manipulated women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his actions over a period of more than ten years. The alleged misconduct began around 2008, as stated by the prosecutors.

The documents further assert that Combs utilized the employees, resources, and influence of the extensive business empire he led and governed to create a criminal enterprise. Members and associates of this enterprise are said to have engaged in, and attempted to engage in, various crimes such as sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.

NBC News reports that Combs maintained his innocence and was not granted bail. His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, expressed before the court hearing that he would vigorously defend Combs with all his strength, fully trusting in his legal team’s abilities.

After his apprehension, Combs was kept at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, where he was refused bail amounting to $50 million. This influential figure in music was additionally placed under suicide observation, a standard practice for prominent prisoners according to TopMob News sources. He has since been removed from this watch.

A source reportedly disclosed that he was placed in the same sector of the prison as Sam Bankman-Fried, who is known for his involvement in cryptocurrency fraud, according to NBC News.

As an over-the-moon fan, let me share that back in the swanky Miami mansion scene around 2010, none other than the legendary Jeff Wittek, aged 34 at the time, was there to experience one of Diddy’s mind-blowing “freak off” parties!

According to Wittek, it towered approximately eight stories and continued ascending, and as we climbed higher, the more bizarre things seemed to occur. (On Jeff FM)

He went on to say, “On that particular night, I witnessed an explicit display of intimacy. It was a first for me, something I had never experienced before. As for my participation, I chose not to engage, but I did get quite intoxicated instead.

As Wittek put it, “It’s just crazy. I was literally there. I lived through it.”

At a press conference on October 1st, lawyer Tony Buzbee disclosed that a total of 120 individuals have recently made accusations of sexual assault against the rapper.

In a press conference with NBC News, Buzbee stated that the accusations against Combs involve:
1. Sexual assault or rape of a violent nature.
2. Encouraging and facilitating sexual activities while under the influence of controlled substances.
3. Sharing recordings of such events.
4. Abuse of minors in a sexual context.

A legal representative for the rapper, Erica Wolff, subsequently addressed the accusations, underscoring that Combs continues to assert his innocence.

In my line of expertise, I firmly stand by the words of this individual: “I can’t respond to every baseless accusation in what seems to have spiraled into an unfair media frenzy. However, let me be crystal clear – any claim suggesting that I have engaged in sexual misconduct, particularly against minors, is categorically and unequivocally false and defamatory.

During a press conference on October 1st, as reported by NBC News, Tony Buzbee, the lawyer, stated that one of the 120 accusers was merely nine years old at the time they claimed to have been assaulted by Combs.

According to the attorney, “25 of the accusers were minors at the time of the alleged incidents.”

Janice’s lawyer, Natlie G. Figgers, expressed in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter on Oct. 6 that it is deeply distressing to watch her son being judged based on falsehoods rather than the truth. She described the situation as a painful public trial before he has had the chance to defend himself and demonstrate his innocence. Just like any other person, her son deserves a fair trial where he can express his version of events and clear his name.

The legal representative for Beyoncé and Jay-Z made a statement following Jaguar Wright’s assertion on Piers Morgan’s talk show that the couple may have had more “victims” than Diddy.

In simpler terms, Alex Spiro said to TMZ on Oct. 9 that what’s being discussed isn’t just gossip or nonsense; it’s more serious – it’s a formal and direct accusation about something significant.

In simpler terms, their lawyer asked Piers to take down the untrue claim, which he subsequently removed and issued an apology for.

On his October 8th program, Piers stated that at the time, there was no one available to refute or clarify the statements made. However, since then, their legal representative has reached out to express that these allegations are entirely untrue and lack any factual foundation.

Back in October 2024, I filed an updated lawsuit that alleged a distressing incident from March 2025. In this lawsuit, I claimed that Ashley Parkham, Odell Beckham Jr., and Druski, along with Combs, were involved in the gang rape of me back in 2018.

Both men denied the claims.

As a lifestyle advisor in the year 2025, I found myself standing before the courts in March, pleading my innocence against accusations levied in an updated indictment. The allegations suggested that I had pressured my team into working excessive hours and made threats if they dared to retaliate. However, I maintain my stance of being not guilty.

After a judge mandated that an anonymous plaintiff named Jane Doe reveal her identity and resubmit a lawsuit initially filed in October 2024, accusing Combs of sexual assault, the case was discarded when the plaintiff failed to meet the deadline for refiling within the allotted time period.
