Shocking ITV Schedule Change: Coronation Street and Emmerdale Axed for World Cup Qualifiers

Viewers who usually watch Coronation Street or Emmerdale on Fridays will be disappointed to know that these shows won’t air on ITV this evening, as they have been replaced by the World Cup Qualifier instead.

7 pm marks the start of our football coverage, followed by the match kick-off at 7:45 pm. This means the soap operas will have to vacate their regular time slots.

On the contrary, there is no need for fans to be concerned, as this adjustment now allows for longer, one-hour episodes of the soap operas.

Tonight’s (Thursday, March 20th) episode of Emmerdale will be on from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Earlier this week, on Tuesday, 19th March, Coronation Street aired an hour-long special.

This week’s entire lineup of episodes is now accessible for viewing on ITVX. Both Weatherfield and Emmerdale villages are brimming with captivating drama.
