Actress Natalie Anderson, previously known from Emmerdale, is set to join the cast of Coronation Street, taking on a part in the developing love storyline between Todd Grimshaw (portrayed by Gareth Pierce).

Anderson gained recognition for her role as Alicia Metcalfe on the ITV soap from 2010 to 2015, and she also took on the character of Lexi Calder in Hollyoaks in 2021.

Starting from next week, the actor is scheduled to first appear on the cobbles as a fresh character named Danielle. It appears she shares some history with Todd’s love interest and scaffolder, Theo Silverton (James Cartwright), which will lead the storyline in an unanticipated direction, according to reports from The Sun.
