While June takes a back seat as the central character in the book, she makes an appearance at the end, reconnecting with her two daughters after more than 15 years.

In the final chapter of “The Testaments”, Luke is not explicitly featured, suggesting he might not make an appearance. Nevertheless, it seems logical for him to be included, as a fitting emotional resolution for June requires closure for Luke too. Both characters shared the common objective of rescuing Hannah and reunion between them would provide an emotional twist, hinting at their reconciliation after their separation in “The Handmaid’s Tale”.
