Electrician Nic, aged 26, and healthcare consultant Cyrell, 29, didn’t find a spark between them. Instead, they mutually agreed that it was best for their friendship to continue rather than pursuing a romantic relationship any further.

In late 2019, Nic confirmed his relationship with Bridgette Lee on Instagram, which marked the beginning of their romantic journey together.

And Cyrell welcomed a baby boy with Love Island Australia star Eden Dally last year.

Jessika, a 27-year-old administration officer, and Mick, aged 31, decided not to move forward in their relationship prior to reaching a definitive choice.

At the conclusion of filming, Melissa and Dino chose to part ways independently, but not without encountering a controversial situation involving a hidden recording. Specifically, Dino covertly recorded a private phone conversation between Melissa and her sister.

In a subsequent pairing, hair salon aide Cheryl, aged 25, was matched with firefighter Andrew, who is 38 years old. However, their relationship ended prior to the ultimate choice, leaving them currently apart.

Unfortunately, Andrew shared that he’s dealing with PTSD as a result of a past event. He mentioned trust concerns and expressed reluctance about participating in shows similar to this one in the future.

As a cinephile, I can’t help but feel a lingering bitterness, bordering on PTSD-like symptoms, when I see an ad or hear a voiceover. It instantly transports me back to those moments, and I find myself reliving them, knowing exactly what’s happening.

At the “boy’s night” event, Andrew faced criticism from fans due to his remarks about Cheryl Maitland’s intelligence and looks.

During a guys’ night in with his fellow male contestants, he appeared to touch her breasts inappropriately, but when asked a week later if he had done anything wrong, he claimed innocence. He explained, “I don’t know what to tell you, it was just a fun, casual gathering among friends.

Prior to being partnered with Andrew, Cheryl had already been teamed up with Jonathan, but neither pairings ended successfully. Now, she is in a relationship with Dean Gibbs.

John Robertson and Deborah Brosnan

In a unique arrangement, businessman John, aged 53, was matched with former model Deborah, also 53. Being the eldest pair in the study, they quickly became the focus of attention.

After the conclusion of the experiment, they chose to get married, but later opted to part ways.

Sharon expressed, back then, that she cared for Nick deeply, but upon relocating to Melbourne eight weeks prior to be with him, she discovered her feelings weren’t reciprocal as she thought they were.” Now, Sharon has found someone new, a gentleman named Julian.
