Shocking Twist in One Piece: Elbaf Arc Proves Fans Totally Wrong!

From my perspective, I’ve been following the captivating world of “One Piece,” a manga teeming with numerous characters and enigmas. Given its massive fanbase, it’s no surprise that when a new plot twist arises, there’s a flurry of theories. Chapter 907 sent shockwaves through the community as “Shanks” made an appearance before the Gorosei, during the ongoing Reverie. He mentioned a pirate whose identity remains undisclosed in the manga. Throughout this period, various speculations about Shanks having a twin brother circulated among readers. Yet, there were also those who believed that Shanks was secretly working for the World Government, masking his true allegiance behind the pirate facade.

In a treasure chest during the God Valley Incident 38 years ago, Roger came across a young boy named Shanks, who was around a year old. He took him in and raised him on his ship together with his crew, unaware of Shanks’ aristocratic background. However, it can be inferred that at some point, Roger likely shared this truth with Shanks. In “One Piece” Chapter 1137, it was revealed that a character bearing a striking resemblance to Shanks is Shamrock Figarland, the Commander of the Holy Knights and son of Garling. Although many details about Shanks’ brother remain a mystery, the Elbaf Arc has at least hinted at one aspect of him.

One Piece Fans Couldn’t Guess the “Certain Pirate” Shamrock Talked About

It’s nearly certain now that Shamrock, not Shanks, was the one who interacted with the Gorosei. When he mentioned the “mysterious pirate,” some assumed it was Shanks revealing Luffy’s uniqueness to the Gorosei. Others speculated it could have been Blackbeard. If the man is indeed Shanks’ brother, it’s also plausible that the “mysterious pirate” could have been Shanks himself.

Given that Chapter 1137 of One Piece has unveiled Shamrock’s objectives, it seems extremely plausible that the “certain pirate” is indeed Loki. Shamrock appears to be aiming to enlist Loki as a Holy Knight and orchestrate the fall of Elbaf. As per the Giants’ accounts, Loki is said to have slain his father, the revered King Harald several years back and fled to the sea. Shanks came across the fugitive prince six years ago and delivered him to the Giants. Consequently, for a number of years, Loki has been living life as a pirate, distanced from Elbaf.

1. At present, Loki is affixed on a cross in the Underworld. Simultaneously, Shamrock accompanies Gunko, assuming that Loki might consent to his side given his incarceration. It’s reasonable for him to think so. Ordinarily, one would eagerly seize such an opportunity. However, Loki unequivocally voices his animosity towards the Celestial Dragons while turning down the proposition. Furthermore, Shamrock enlists Gunko’s help to confront the most powerful nation on earth.

2. Currently, Loki is crucified in the Underworld. Simultaneously, Shamrock brings Gunko with him, reasoning that since Loki is imprisoned, he might agree to join forces. Generally, one would be quick to accept such an offer. However, Loki openly declares his disdain for the Celestial Dragons while refusing the invitation. Moreover, Shamrock enlists Gunko’s aid to challenge the strongest country globally.

3. In the Underworld, Loki is now being crucified. Meanwhile, Shamrock takes Gunko with him, considering that since Loki is in prison, he might agree to team up. Normally, one would eagerly accept an offer like this. However, Loki openly expresses his dislike for the Celestial Dragons while turning down the proposition. Furthermore, Shamrock enlists Gunko’s help to overthrow the world’s most powerful nation.

4. Presently, Loki is crucified in the Underworld. Concurrently, Shamrock includes Gunko, believing that since Loki is detained, he might join him. Typically, one would be quick to accept such an offer. However, Loki openly displays his contempt for the Celestial Dragons while refusing the invitation. Additionally, Shamrock enlists Gunko’s assistance to overthrow the strongest nation on earth.

5. Loki is now being crucified in the Underworld. At the same time, Shamrock recruits Gunko, thinking that since Loki is imprisoned, he might consent to his cause. Generally, one would be eager to accept such a proposition. However, Loki openly shows his disdain for the Celestial Dragons while rejecting the offer. Moreover, Shamrock enlists Gunko’s help to challenge the most powerful nation on earth.

It’s obvious that a person as cautious as him wouldn’t start a war against Elbaf without having a strategy in place. So, it’s likely he’s discussed Loki with the Gorosei earlier. If the Cursed Prince had accepted their offer, it would have given Shamrock a powerful ally, making his tasks easier. But since things aren’t going as he originally intended, it seems reasonable to suspect that Shamrock has hidden plans in store.
