As a long-time Wuthering Waves enthusiast with countless hours poured into perfecting my team compositions, I must say that Zhezhi is certainly a character to watch out for! With her unique role as a Glacio Sub DPS and master painter abilities, she brings an intriguing twist to the game.
Zhezhi is set to be one of the new Resonators in “Wuthering Waves 1.2,” leaving many considering whether they should try to obtain her.
Not much is known about her, but we do know that she’s a master painter. As a Resonator, she’ll use her painting skills to summon allies and damage foes. She’ll serve the role of a Glacio Sub DPS, being capable of providing damage as well as support.
In this article, we’ll look at Zhezhi’s kit and help you decide if she’s worth pulling for!
Should You Pull For Zhezhi? | Wuthering Waves 1.2
To clarify matters upfront: If you’re fond of Zhezhi, by all means, cheer her on! Be it her design, personality, or abilities, there’s no need to overlook her if she already appeals to you, isn’t that correct?
As a long-time gamer and follower of the gaming industry, I can say with confidence that unofficially leaked information about upcoming game content is not uncommon. However, in my experience, it’s always best to approach such leaks with a grain of salt. While there may be solid evidence supporting their authenticity, the fact remains that the content is not yet officially confirmed and could still be subject to change before its official release. This is especially true for new characters like Zhezhi, whose kit has not yet been officially revealed. I’ve seen too many instances where leaks have turned out to be only partially accurate or completely incorrect in the end. So while it can be exciting to speculate and discuss potential gameplay mechanics and abilities based on leaked information, I always try to keep an open mind and wait for official confirmation before forming any solid opinions or expectations.
That aside, let’s go over what Zhezhi brings to the table!
Breakdown of Zhezhi’s Basics
Zhezhi is a Glacio Resonator who wields Rectifiers as her combat tool. She operates primarily as a Sub DPS, dishing out substantial damage in quick bursts while primarily relying on bolstering the Main DPS. Additionally, she has the ability to summon Inklit Spirits that linger on the battlefield after she is replaced by another Resonator, enabling her to inflict damage from an off-field position.
As a gamer, I find that Zhezhi truly shines when it comes to her Outro Skill. This skill significantly boosts the incoming Resonator’s Resonance Skill, making her an ideal partner for DPS Resonators who heavily depend on their Resonance abilities, like Jinhsi and Changli. Interestingly enough, these two characters are also among the strongest in the game!
Additionally, her “Resonance Liberation” ability enables her to conjure “Inklit Spirits” whenever the active Resonator inflicts damage. This summoned effect persists even if she is replaced by another Resonator. These Inklit Spirits function as a Combined Assault, dishing out Glacio damage, thereby boosting your main DPS’s offensive might.
Conclusions | Should You Pull?
As a fan, I’d enthusiastically suggest that if your main DPS in the Wuthering Waves team is already solid, you might want to root for Zhezhi. However, this recommendation is contingent upon not having a superior support Resonator like Verina in your roster.
As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that Zhezhi will be particularly beneficial for players who possess Jinhsi but lack Verina to support her. In my own gaming journey, I’ve found that having the right combination of characters can make all the difference in achieving victory.
If you’ve already got the Support role handled within your primary team, we wouldn’t recommend adding Zhezhi. She may not surpass Verina in terms of support capabilities and doesn’t offer enough firepower as a DPS to compensate for her reduced support potential.
Essentially, Zhezhi is somewhat specialized, meaning she’s got a strong character, but she may not be essential due to other characters excelling more in her role. If you enjoy her or need her to pair with Jinhsi since you don’t have Verina, go ahead and summon her. However, if you’ve got better options, it might be wise to save your summons!
