Should You Spare or Kill Nimble in STALKER 2?

Should You Spare or Kill Nimble in STALKER 2?

As a seasoned Stalker, I’ve traversed the Zone countless times and encountered my fair share of shady characters. Nimble, however, is one of those neutral faces that somehow manage to leave an impression. He played a pivotal role in Skif’s journey, and now it’s our turn to decide his fate.

In the game Stalker 2, players will traverse various locations within the Zone, inevitably encountering a diverse array of individuals, some morally questionable. Nimble, similar to numerous other Stalkers, leans toward being neutral at best, but he significantly influenced the event that ignited Skif’s adventure in the initial game.

Once you’ve advanced far enough into the main missions of “Stalker 2”, you may come across a situation where Nimble is facing your gun, and it will be up to you to decide whether to pull the trigger or not. Keep in mind that actions often carry consequences within the Zone, so here’s a glimpse of what might happen when you find yourself in this particular dilemma.

Where to Find Nimble

In the “In Search of a Guide” quest, which is one of the key missions in Stalker 2, it’s Nimble who you’re tasked with locating. This guide will lead you to the old Clear Sky base, and he’s just the right person for the job. To gather information about Nimble, you’ll need to visit the two main bases in Zaton – Skadovsk and Shevchenko.

The Shevchenko is a Loner base run by Beard, while the Skadovsk (or Sultansk) is a Bandit base led by Sultan. We recommend going to the latter simply because it has a technician who can modify and repair your gear. Each boss will also have some quests for you to do, and if you don’t particularly mind aiding all the Stalker 2 factions, you can do quests for both without either side becoming hostile. Soon, you’ll be sent to go east of the Zaton marsh to speak to another Stalker named Trapper, who knows where Nimble is.

Mutant Hunting with Trapper

Trapper is tracking down a peculiar creature. If you inquire about Nimble’s whereabouts, he would mention that he’s attending to a cave called Snork, located more to the east. Following this, several abnormal creatures may show up. You have the option to assist Trapper in eliminating these mutants or simply continue on your own.

If you choose to stand your ground against the large deer, be cautious as it can knock you down and make you an easy target for other creatures. To evade its charges, run swiftly and leap if necessary. Use shotguns to promptly eliminate the smaller mutants. If you manage to slay all the monsters, you’ll receive a good number of Coupons as your reward.

Should You Spare or Shoot Nimble?

The optimal choice is to show mercy towards Nimble. Remember, it was him who showed kindness by letting you live at the start of the game. Leaving him alive will also bring you an extra stack of Coupons that you wouldn’t receive if you were to harm him. Additionally, you’ll obtain some essential supplies such as anti-radiation medicine and healing items.

Regardless of your choice, make sure to loot the nearby Saiga shotgun . It should be on the cave floor near where the cutscene with Nimble ends.

In the game “Stalker 2”, Nimble isn’t a significant character who heavily influences the main plot. However, saving him for the cash and resources is beneficial due to the high costs of repairs and upgrades in the game.
