As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I can confidently say that the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake is a game that has been long overdue. With its release date just around the corner, I’m thrilled to see that it will only require a modest 50.535 GB of storage space on my PlayStation 5 – a size that seems almost too good to be true for such an anticipated title.
As the highly anticipated remake of “Silent Hill 2” gets nearer, more details about it are surfacing, and with its release date almost here, we’ve also learned the approximate download size for the game on PlayStation 5.
According to PlaystationSize’s Twitter updates, the download size for Silent Hill 2 is approximately 50.535 GB. This is in line with what you would expect from a game of this magnitude. For reference, last year’s Resident Evil 4 remake required over 58 GB of storage space.

On October 8, the highly anticipated release of Silent Hill 2 will hit both PS5 and PC platforms. Previews of the game are scheduled to start appearing online on October 4, a day before the exclusive access to the Deluxe Edition becomes available for players.
