Last year saw a triumphant return of the chilling horror series “Silent Hill” with Bloober Team’s remake of “Silent Hill 2”, and we can expect more exciting details about its future steps soon. Konami has scheduled a new Silent Hill Transmission livestream for this coming Thursday, March 13, at 3 PM PDT, where they promise to shed light on the enigmatic world of “Silent Hill”.
Scant information is available about the upcoming mainline entry in Konami’s cherished psychological horror franchise, titled “Silent Hill f,” which was announced in 2022. This game is being jointly developed by Konami and NeoBards Entertainment, marking the series’ first foray outside the iconic town of Silent Hill, as it is set instead in a small Japanese village during the 1960s.
The game Silent Hill is penned by Ryukishi07, and boasts character and monster designs courtesy of Japanese artist Kera. At this point, it’s uncertain which platforms the game will debut on, or what its core gameplay mechanics might entail; however, we’ll likely discover those details shortly.
It’s uncertain at this point whether additional new Silent Hill games will be unveiled or if we’ll get fresh info about the upcoming Silent Hill: Townfall. Keep an eye out for future announcements.
