Silent Hill: The Short Message Crosses 4 Million Downloads

Approximately one year post-launch, Konami’s “Silent Hill: The Short Message” surpassed a significant download threshold, reaching an impressive 4 million downloads. As shared via Konami UK’s Twitter account, this milestone was recently achieved.

On the PlayStation 5 and free of charge, HexaDrive’s narrative unfolds, where we meet Anita, who wakes up in a run-down apartment complex known as the Villa. Following a message from her friend Maya asking her to find something, Anita embarks on a chilling exploration within the building, struggling to recall how she ended up there.

Beyond “Silent Hill: The Short Message,” Konami has also launched a remake of “Silent Hill 2,” which surpassed sales of over two million units. Currently, the developers are working on a new version of the game titled “Silent Hill f” for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Despite being the next mainline title, it’s important to note that this is an entirely fresh project, unrelated to previous installments in the series, according to the publisher.
