Silksong Fans Prepare Clown Makeup Once More as Summer Game Fest Approaches

After all this wait, could this be the moment? There’s been a lot of speculation about Hollow Knight: Silksong – one of the most elusive and eagerly awaited games in recent years. Now, fans are confident that it’s going to make its grand appearance for real.

The Summer Game Fest is rapidly approaching, and keen-eyed fans have noticed some modifications on the backend of the 2D action game’s Steam page.

On SteamDB, the game’s packages have been updated very recently — within the last 24 hours.

As Geoff Keighley’s large summer event approaches, fans are starting to speculate that Silksong will likely be included in the lineup.

It’s possible that since the game has previously been featured at Xbox presentations, it might be unveiled and given more details during Microsoft’s event on June 8th.

As an ardent enthusiast, I can’t help but wonder if this week will unveil some fresh sneak peeks or perhaps a release date for the upcoming project? The anticipation is palpable, and even a subtle hint sets fans like me into a whirlwind of excitement.

It should be noted, however, that we’ve been through this before, and not that long ago.

In March, there was speculation that a minor update on SteamDB indicated that Hollow Knight: Silksong might be featured in Nintendo’s Switch 2 presentation. However, it turned out to be just a fleeting glimpse during a montage, offering no significant revelations about its inclusion in the Switch 2 Direct.

Although there’s a strong possibility that the game will be unveiled again this week, we can’t definitively say that minor updates spotted on SteamDB point to any significant news. We’ll find out soon enough.
