Sinners soundtrack: All the songs in Ryan Coogler’s horror including Hailee Steinfeld original

Ryan Coogler’s latest movie, titled “Sinners,” primarily explores the immense influence of music as a central theme.

Under these circumstances, the quality of the music in the film became absolutely crucial, which is why it came as no shock that Ryan Coogler enlisted the services of his frequent partner, Ludwig Göransson, who has won both Oscars and Grammys, to compose an original score for the movie.

However, it’s not just about the main tune; the movie also incorporates numerous other musical pieces, ranging from energetic ones that will give you a jolt, to melancholic ones that will send shivers down your spine. These musical styles span various genres, including blues and Irish folk music.

During filming, every number was performed in real-time, with Miles Caton, a rising talent, captivating audiences particularly during his musical segments. As stated by Wunmi Mosaku, witnessing the recording of these scenes was an exceptionally unique experience.

As a movie reviewer, I found myself utterly captivated upon hearing Miles perform for the first time. From the moment we gathered for our initial read-through, it was as if a bolt of emotion had electrified everyone present. Tears welled up in our eyes, leaving us spellbound by this young prodigy’s extraordinary talent and the raw passion he poured into his debut performance.

She added: “Watching him perform is incredible. He’s fresh on the set, asking questions, learning, and then suddenly he transforms into his character on stage, and it’s like, ‘Wow, this is his world as the character.’ It makes you feel incredibly proud, not because you had a role in it, but because you’re part of it.

Simultaneously, the soundtrack album, scheduled to drop alongside the movie, holds additional delights for enthusiasts, such as a fresh original tune from leading actress Hailee Steinfeld – marking her first release in two years.

To compose this song, I aimed to capture the essence of Mary’s connection with Stack and her longing for their union, despite complex circumstances making it challenging. This desire might seem a tad self-centered, but it reflects her heartfelt wish for them to be together whenever possible.

The title of the song is “Dangerous,” and it seems to stir up the sense of vulnerability that many of its characters often portray.

As a movie critic, I must admit, the experience was truly captivating. Stepping into Mary’s shoes, delving into her inner world, and then standing outside, observing and composing a song from her point of view yet intertwined with my own, was an enjoyable and intriguing process.
