Sister Wives' Janelle Brown Shares "Bittersweet" Memories of Late Son

As a lifestyle expert with a deep appreciation for personal stories, I can’t help but feel deeply moved by Janelle Brown‘s poignant tribute to her late son, Garrison. Her ability to find moments of joy amidst profound grief is truly inspiring.

Janelle Brown is grateful for the time she had with her son.

The TV personality from “Sister Wives” posted a heartfelt tribute to her former spouse Kody Brown and their late son, Garrison Brown, by publishing a touching 2022 picture depicting a cherished family memory on her phone.

Every day, my phone shows me memories, many of which feature Garrison. On days like today, which are great, they bring a smile to my face as I recall the event and how much fun we had. There’s always a hint of bittersweetness afterwards, but it’s still wonderful to view these time capsules.

In the picture, Garrison is beaming with joy as he embraces his laughing mom, alongside his brother Gabriel Brown (age 22) and sister Savanah Brown (age 19). The entire clan is embarking on a fun-filled family trek together.

Six weeks following the Brown family’s commemoration of their 25-year-old member’s suicide, a recollection surfaced.

On that particular day, Janelle, who co-parents daughters Madison Brush (aged 28) and sons Logan Brown (aged 30) and Hunter Brown (aged 27) with her ex-spouse, commemorated the occasion by posting another heartwarming picture of her late son.

At times, it feels like you’re still around,” she wrote on her Sept. 5 Instagram post. “But then reality hits – there’ll be no more calls or messages from you. The memories flood back. You battled bravely, but ultimately couldn’t stay. My love for you is immense and I will reunite with you when my journey ends.

On the same anniversary, Garrison’s elder sibling, Madison, also offered a tribute, providing additional understanding of the Brown family’s sorrow.

She wrote that her brother, Garrison, faced difficulties we never suspected. Despite our frequent conversations and close-knit family bond, we were taken aback because none of us had noticed any warning signs. He was known for his sarcastic humor and awkward seriousness, as if vulnerability was tough for him. I deeply mourn him.
