Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Says Husband Kody Brown Has a “Murder Face”

In this heart-wrenching tale, it appears that each character is grappling with their own unique struggles within the complex web of relationships known as the Brown family. Janelle, a beacon of resilience, has made a bold decision to distance herself from her father if he fails to acknowledge his mistakes and make necessary changes. Her choice reflects a maturity and self-awareness that many may not possess at such a young age.

No one in the Brown family is keen to incur the wrath of Kody Brown.

In the October 27th broadcast of “Sister Wives”, conversations arose among Kody’s former spouses and his current wife, Robyn Brown, regarding Kody’s frequent displays of strong facial expressions.

Robyn dislikes what she calls Kody’s ‘angry face.’ She stated this during a private moment on camera. According to her, Kody shouldn’t use such an intimidating expression with their children. When he tells them to get ready for bed, she wishes he would soften his tone and relax his eyebrows a bit.

Kody’s former spouse, Meri Brown, expressed to Kody’s acquaintances that “he no longer appears as joyful as he once was.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: Reflecting on my personal journey post-separation in 2022, I must acknowledge that my ex-husband, Kody, has consistently maintained his unique personality traits.

Janelle, who tied the knot with Kody back in 1993, noted that he’s generally quite intense. Even during casual conversations, he often maintains a serious expression.

Previously practicing polygamy, this individual – having experienced three separations over recent times – confessed to harboring an irritable temperament following his divorces.

He expressed frustration, saying, ‘I’m feeling quite irritated.’ He wasn’t being rude or loud or acting out in any way. Instead, he was simply conveying, ‘I have a face like thunder right now.’

Following Christine Brown’s departure in 2021, both Janelle and Meri soon followed, which left Kody with limited contact with most of his adult children. This also put pressure on his sole remaining marriage to Robyn.

It’s extremely challenging when children face difficulties with their father,” Christine shared with TopMob News recently. “I truly hope they can develop a positive bond with him.

For a quarter of a century, Christine and Kody, who were united in a spiritual bond before their separation, have shared parenthood of children: Aspyn Thompson (29 years old), Mykelti Padron (28), Paedon Brown (26), Gwendlyn Brown (22), Ysabel Brown (21), and Truely Brown (14). Despite any personal differences between Christine and Kody, she has made efforts to facilitate understanding among her kids.

The 51-year-old simply advises, “Just meet him as he is,” and encourages, “Simply respond when he contacts you, pick up the phone.

Kody Brown expressed his intent to separate from his first wife, Meri Brown, not long after their 1990 wedding vows. However, as he told her during their 2018 move to Flagstaff, “Meri, when we move here, this will be an opportunity for a fresh start for us.” This was something Kody had led her to believe over the years, according to Meri’s statement in the Sept. 15 premiere.

She openly expressed her primary concern as his inconsistent communication, including his feelings, desires, and dislikes, as well as the narrative he has been conveying throughout their relationship.

Kody conceded that his actions might have sent confusing signals, but as he delved into the tasks at hand, he found himself questioning, “What’s the point of doing this?” he clarified, stating he wouldn’t pursue a relationship with her currently.

Either way, Meri’s friends were thrilled when she finally pulled the plug in early 2023.

She admitted, “They essentially said, ‘We’re with you, we’re on your side. And it’s high time,'” she revealed. Removing her blinders, she now believes that for years, he had been subtly urging her to leave by claiming he didn’t love her, “Since if I could be made to depart and I do so, then he wouldn’t be the villain because he didn’t walk away himself.

After many years had passed since the family bought a 14-acre plot of land in Flagstaff, Ariz., where they intended to construct a home, Kody revealed during the season premiere that he was prepared to let the dream fade away. Since they hadn’t paid off the full $820,000 purchase price (which was reportedly settled in 2023), he told Robyn Brown, “I’d almost prefer to abandon it or sell it and then start anew somewhere else.

As for Robyn, “I can’t talk about that,” she responded. “That is so not where I’m at.”

Initially, Janelle Brown had shared with TopMob News that the relationship was simply drifting apart. However, it was ultimately Kody’s shortcomings in his role as a parent towards certain children that led to her decision to part ways.

“The turning point for me came when his relationship with my kids fell apart. I could tell he wasn’t making a great effort to mend it. That realization made me understand that was the main reason keeping me here.

Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Says Husband Kody Brown Has a “Murder Face”

The reason Kody didn’t make an effort to repair the conflicts he had with some of his grown children, was what he shared as an explanation.

In the September 15th episode, he expressed his feelings of not belonging in the family anymore. Despite being legally married to Robyn and co-parenting their five children – Dayton Brown, Aurora Brown, Breanna Brown, Solomon Brown, and Ariella Brown – he also mentioned having limited contact with some other kids. Feeling overwhelmed by this complex situation, he asked, “What am I supposed to do with all of this? It doesn’t feel like a family.

Although they’ve been genuinely monogamous for 14 years in their marriage, Robyn admitted in the season 19 opener that their relationship has never been as strained as it is now. “It’s been a difficult time between us,” she said. “Kody doesn’t know who to hold accountable, himself or one of the other wives. He feels a lot of rejection and I think he worries that I might reject him too.

Consequently, she disclosed, “I’m constantly vigilant. I’m always ensuring he isn’t undermining our relationship.” The most challenging aspect, she concluded: “There’s no support system available for dealing with the fact that I’m still wed to a man who’s in the process of multiple divorces.

Meanwhile, Kody found himself grappling with a wave of self-doubt, expressing, “I just can’t bring myself to tell my reflection, ‘Hey there, buddy. I adore you.’

Include Madison, Janelle’s eldest child, in the list of kids who are currently estranged from Kody. As she shared during the premiere, “Maddie hasn’t spoken to her father at all,” she said. “He hasn’t called, she hasn’t contacted him either. They don’t have a relationship, and as far as I know, Maddie has cut ties with both Kody and Robin.

Janelle pointed out that there’s a question about Kody’s level of commitment in his relationship with Axel, Evangalynn, and Josephine, Maddie’s children. She made it clear that she only wants him to interact with them if he’s prepared to fully engage.

Consequently, during the September 22 episode, Kody appears to have ceased communication with Maddie and her spouse Caleb Brush following a significant breakdown in the family dynamics.

Without Kody being present or reaching out, Maddie has taken on a very protective role, as Janelle put it. She feels that until he can be reliable and avoid unnecessary drama, it might be best for everyone involved if they keep his presence out of the picture for now.

Additionally, Robyn mentioned that she’s been urging Kody to make amends, she also expressed, “It seems fitting for the children to take similar steps as well.

Currently, it appears that Kody isn’t prepared to mend the rift yet. He feels frustrated because whenever he talks to his daughter, it seems like he’s just feeding her gossip, which has become tiresome for him.

During their 32nd anniversary celebration, Meri confided in her friend Brandi that Kody had hinted he never truly loved her and felt compelled to marry her. In response, she told him, “Kody, I know you cared for me.

And if he didn’t, the mom to Leon Brown said in a confessional, why did he ever propose?

When a young man encounters a single woman, why would he decide to marry her if he doesn’t feel affection for her initially, instead of declaring his love and trying to make it grow over time? Seems unfair, doesn’t it? To select someone from many options and then say, ‘I choose you, and I hope to learn to love you for the next 32 years’?

Kody’s response, he shared in his own confessional: “Oh, Meri has her little accusations now. Fine, she can say whatever she wants. I’m not going to comment on it.”

Though, he would share that they never enjoyed a honeymoon period.

On the October 20th episode, he emphatically stated that their marriage was struggling from the start, “This union was always in troubled waters,” he said. “But why do I know this? Because I had much stronger bonds with Janelle, Christine, and Robyn.

He acknowledged that he “should have ended the relationship twenty-five years back,” but he continued due to fear, pointing out, “Authority figures won’t permit remarriage if you’re repeatedly leaving spouses.

Despite being unsure whether to develop Coyote Pass or sell it, Janelle pointed out that the first move was settling the Arizona property debt. As Kody refused to discuss the matter with her, she shared with ex-sister wife Christine Brown in the September 22 episode, “It seems like I’ll have to hire a lawyer.” She added, “I think that’s the only way I’ll ever get any resolution from him.

Janelle admitted that since she isn’t legally married to Kody, “I don’t actually have any legal grounds to assert any kind of claim on Kody’s property.” In her own words, “It’s not as simple as calling a lawyer to file for divorce. The situation is more complex because there isn’t a legally recognized marriage between us.

Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Says Husband Kody Brown Has a “Murder Face”

Kody stated that his reason for avoiding discussions with Janelle regarding the Arizona property was due to a loss of trust towards her.

He firmly stated during the September 22 episode that he would settle the property matter when necessary, and he refused to share any specifics about his actions or plans because he is weary of revealing information that gets distorted by the rumor mill of our dysfunctional family.

A bit of a pot calling the kettle black, Janelle said in her own interview.

She mentioned, “He spills secrets as if he were a leaking bucket, sharing details about his past relationships and multiple spouses which left me feeling uncomfortable, thinking perhaps he shouldn’t have shared those things with me.

In the days when their affection for each other was growing stronger instead of weakening, they would combine all their funds in a common fund.

Janelle clarified during the September 22 broadcast that we would pool all our resources to aid one individual, and afterward, we’d unite to bolster the other. This had been our consistent approach until around the last decade. However, it appears that things have shifted significantly, with the focus now being on personal estates instead of collective ones.

When Robyn required a house in Arizona, everyone contributed towards purchasing her 5-bedroom property worth approximately $1.65 million, which had been listed for sale in August.

Initially, Robyn expressed that the property would benefit the entire family. However, when Janelle proposed they all be co-signers on the mortgage, she was met with resistance. Kody responded, “No, no, we need to safeguard, you know, Robyn’s inheritance,” as recalled by Janelle. Now that she’s leaving the family, Janelle stated her desire to claim her share of the Coyote Pass earnings and also get back some of the funds she invested in Robyn’s house.

But that could be a tough sell.

Robyn remarked, “After all this time collaborating, it’s perplexing.” She continued as Janelle brought up the topic of unpaid dues, “I mean, I just can’t wrap my head around it. How does one even calculate that? It’s such a puzzle.

Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Says Husband Kody Brown Has a “Murder Face”

Janelle criticized the fact that Coyote Pass wasn’t being paid off by the family, stating that Kody frequently mentioned having numerous other financial obligations. However, she observed him acquiring various assets such as trailers and home decorations. “I notice all the artwork in Robyn and Kody’s house,” she remarked. “I see all these items. And I understand, because I too have spent money on things.” In his defense, Kody explained that a significant portion of his funds were used to purchase vehicles (he said he had quite a number of them) and insurance for the children.

Janelle admitted she didn’t know the details of Kody and Robyn’s financial management, but she often found herself marveling at how beautiful and well-maintained Robyn’s backyard was. It always seemed finished, and there was always an abundance of items at her house. This left Janelle in awe, thinking, “Wow. That’s interesting.

Essentially, she conveyed that he didn’t make her needs or desires a priority, which over time became a significant problem for her. She added, “In time, I came to realize this, and even my grown children were becoming increasingly frustrated about it, questioning me like, ‘What on earth, Mom?’

In Robyn’s opinion, she became extremely cautious about managing her finances following the breakdown of her first marriage.

In the past, I wasn’t exactly a whiz with finances, I confessed during our chat on September 22. Growing up, I encountered my fair share of financial hardships, and it was only when I went through a divorce that I truly mastered the art of budgeting meticulously. As for my fellow sister wives, I guess your priorities regarding spending just differed from mine – that’s all.

Currently, as revealed in the September 22 episode, Janelle admitted that she and Meri, Robyn, and Kody, who are the parents of Aspyn Brown, Mykelti Brown Padron, Paedon Brown, Gwendlyn Brown, Ysabel Brown, and Truely Brown respectively, don’t interact much with each other at present. She doesn’t anticipate this situation changing significantly in the near future.

Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Says Husband Kody Brown Has a “Murder Face”

Reflecting on the period when they lived in four houses on a single cul-de-sac in Las Vegas, Kody described it as “the best time of my life.” He went on to say, “Things were running smoothly, and having Maddie and Caleb around was fantastic. I adored Caleb; he felt like family.

However, tensions escalated in Arizona due to disagreements about coronavirus safety measures. Subsequently, he mentioned that once his marriages deteriorated, so did his connections with the children: “They all turned bitter as a result.

But Christine insisted their were issues well before she announced she was leaving in late 2021.

On the September 22 episode, she stated, “The children who felt frustrated had been feeling that way long before I departed. My departure didn’t affect their relationship with Kody; Kody has the ability to mend those relationships with his children.

Though it’ll definitely take some work.

As a devoted fan, let me express how deeply upset I am about how I’ve been perceived, which has left an indelible mark on me. To put it straight, I refuse to shoulder the burden for actions that my partner or ex-partner is attributing to me. I yearn for the day when the resentment will dissipate, allowing us to rediscover forgiveness and love once more.

Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Says Husband Kody Brown Has a “Murder Face”

At the age of 21 and 19, Kody and Meri admitted they weren’t particularly well-acquainted with one another when they got married, both spiritually and legally. Over time, they eventually decided to file for divorce in 2014, allowing Kody to adopt Robyn’s three older children from her previous marriage legally.

In the beginning of our marriage, she seemed quite different from what I had expected, and I believe there were certain issues or past experiences (baggage) that Meri hadn’t shared with me. At first, I thought I could adapt to this situation. However, as time went on, everything felt like a constant battle, and I found myself living in a world where she was consistently upset with me.

Even though he desired to depart, he couldn’t because in a plural marriage, as Kody explained, divorce isn’t an option for those who wish to remain faithful. Thus, he found himself unable to escape that union. However, it wasn’t that he necessarily wanted out of the relationship; instead, he sought understanding if they could repair and salvage it.

To put it plainly, despite Meri’s belief that we could iron out all our issues, the truth is, every time we were together, she just didn’t seem pleasant, engaging, or kind. Frankly, I find myself growing increasingly bored in her company. I yearn to explore our connection, but alas, it remains dull.

He acknowledged that it was understandable for Meri to feel as though she had been left behind, but he clarified, “I didn’t forcefully evict her. In fact, it was Christine, Janelle, and Meri themselves who decided that I should leave our shared residence.

Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Says Husband Kody Brown Has a “Murder Face”

Despite the fact that neither Janelle nor Christine considered it necessary to formally divorce Kody due to their unofficial union, Meri sought and obtained an official separation – termed a “release” – from their church towards the end of 2022.

She clarified in the September 22 episode that all four of us women were united with Kody through our church by what we referred to as a covenant rather than legal marriage. Since none of us are pursuing further marriage and he doesn’t wish for an eternal bond, I believe it’s right to dissolve this union completely. This is my choice because I don’t want any future complications regarding our supposed eternal connection if he isn’t interested.

Kody was hesitant about the concept, she mentioned, preferring not to recognize or submit to the leadership of the church officials.

Kody made it clear that the harm was so severe that reconciliation is no longer an option. He further stated, “Whatever accountability we might face before God, I don’t wish to be answerable to this church and its nonsense. Therefore, I plan to let Meri have her freedom, because if I remain angry with her, it would only lead to a fight. And frankly, I just want her to move on because it took her so long to accept that things between us are over for quite some time.

2021 holiday gift exchange conversation among the 18 Brown children took an unpleasant turn, as Christine explained. “Matters escalated quickly, things took a turn for the worse,” she described. “Kody, Robyn, and their kids formed one group, while Janelle, me, and our kids were excluded from theirs. This text conversation led to a division among us.

Robyn expressed that her three eldest children perceived the interaction as “uncomfortable emotionally” and suggested they should distance themselves from the relationship temporarily. However, she clarified it wasn’t a matter of not wanting to see her or cutting ties entirely, but rather feeling that the situation had become unpleasant, much like saying, “Hey, this has gotten messy.

For his part, Gabriel is hoping that they could find their way back to each other.

He admitted during the October 13 episode that his deepest desire is to rebuild relationships with Robyn’s children. In middle school, Aurora was his preferred companion, and in high school, he always tried to connect with Dayton. However, he doesn’t hold much optimism about forming a relationship with their father and Robyn.

Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Says Husband Kody Brown Has a “Murder Face”

Aurora asserted that she was told on numerous occasions, by various individuals, that she wasn’t welcomed into the family when her mother married Kody in 2010. She claimed that they never acknowledged or regarded her as their sister.

Instead, Breanna expressed that she believed the parents might have made more effort to strengthen our familial bond, but unfortunately, that connection was never fully established.

But Christine isn’t sure how they could have opened their arms any wider.

Robyn’s children and Robyn themselves are always welcome to any event,” she emphasized. “In other words, they can feel free to drop by our home whenever it suits them.

At the same time, she mentioned, her daughter Ysabel Brown had a strong bond with Robyn’s children, to the point where Mykelti Brown Padron resided with them for a while. She explained, “There were difficult periods and my kids felt exasperated at times, but they regarded Robyn’s children as their siblings just as if they were blood relatives.

Expressing her enthusiasm, Janelle described plural marriage as follows: “When it works optimally, it provides an extraordinary family structure that one belongs to, a supportive community in which one is connected. One has a husband and enjoys a wonderful relationship with him. Additionally, one maintains all their independence. To me, this kind of marriage was truly an excellent setup.

Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Says Husband Kody Brown Has a “Murder Face”

According to Janelle’s account, Kody found it more challenging to share his affection when the family moved from Las Vegas to Arizona in 2018.

On the September 29th episode, it was mentioned that when Kody relocated to Flagstaff, he found it simpler to stay away from home. Occasionally, I had to remind him to visit me since he would often make excuses about being exhausted. She explained, “You’re really tired? Well, you can rest at my house just as much as you can rest at Robyn’s house.

Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Says Husband Kody Brown Has a “Murder Face”

In Janelle’s words, she expressed that her children were reprimanded if they dared to open Robyn’s refrigerator. For Christine’s kids, it was more about the fact that they recognized that Robyn and their father were a couple, but he wasn’t present in their home.

And Robyn said her crew definitely felt the divide.

She mentioned on the September 29th episode that Meri was generally welcoming towards myself and our children, but the rest of the family found it difficult to accept us. What we truly desired was to become a part of their family.

However, Gabriel might contend that he and his fellow siblings had made significant efforts to incorporate them into their group.

In the October 13th episode, he expressed his belief that Robyn might have a victim mentality. To phrase it simply, he suggested this is how she seems to cope, and he doesn’t necessarily hold her responsible for it. He believes everyone adopts various strategies to stay resilient in their own ways.

Yet, he went on to say, “If it’s truly her belief that we were unfairly treating her or her children while she was frequently favored by Dad and we were consistently trying to build bonds with her kids, if she genuinely believes this, then there’s no possibility of me maintaining a relationship with Robyn.

Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Says Husband Kody Brown Has a “Murder Face”

During a September 29 broadcast, Kody discussed how moving between four separate homes impacted his eighteen children. He recounted an instance when his and Robyn’s youngest child, Ariella (born in January 2016), became emotionally attached to him, refusing to let go as he attempted to depart.

Kody put it this way: “I had to tell her, ‘I have another wife and family that require my attention, another set of children who need me.’ She was clinging to me, crying, ‘Don’t abandon me, Daddy, don’t leave me.’ It’s really tough for me.

Unfortunately, that’s just a reality of plural marriage, insisted Janelle.

Right from the start,” she clarified, her children “were aware that their father wouldn’t always be around. I’ve always felt that Kody and Robyn mishandled the situation with her children. He couldn’t stay away for more than three or four days because Ari gets so upset, but I believe this was poor parenting. Throughout our family’s history, the other kids managed without any issues, and they’ve grown up to be well-adjusted adults.

Among a small group of children with the surname Brown, Mykelti maintained relationships with not only Robyn and Kody but also Christine and Janelle, her mother. During the times of Kody’s divorces, it fell upon Mykelti to act as the mediator or peacekeeper.

From the very instant Robyn graced the Brown household, I was delighted to have her as part of our family circle. In fact, I extended the invitation for her to be present during the November 2022 birth of my twins, Archer and Ace. It was a truly special moment we shared together.

During the September 29th episode, Mykelti expressed that upon Robyn’s arrival in our family, I was still finding myself and she made me feel unique and understood. When I needed someone, Robyn was there. She provided comfort when I needed someone to listen, to care for me, and most importantly, to love me.

Christine’s mother was overjoyed beyond words when Robyn joined their family and it was clear that she and Mykelti had a strong bond. On the October 6 episode, Christine expressed her feelings by saying, “I always dreamed of having a large family, and I hoped my children would have wonderful relationships with other mothers. Well, this dream has come true!

Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Says Husband Kody Brown Has a “Murder Face”

Kody believes that it’s not just his wives who have chosen to exclude him from their lives; he thinks they are intentionally doing so as a form of punishment for a crime he did not commit, according to what he shared during the October 6 episode. In essence, he feels that he is being ostracized because he didn’t fall deeply in love with their mothers.

What’s more, he continued, he think his former spouses are a bit to blame.

He mentioned that the strain in his relationship with his children is predominantly a product of negative comments, as he put it. He explained that there’s a constant feeling of letdown due to the family splitting up or similar circumstances, which often leads him to think, “Ah, it must be Dad who made the mistakes.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: Although I acknowledge some responsibility in the situation, I bristle at the derogatory remarks. More importantly, I openly express my difficulties in reaching out and bonding with Hunter, Maddie, and Gabriel. One of my children even replied to a text message, calling me “worthless” and stating that they would never engage with me again.

In another occurrence, he expressed to the cameras, “One of my children recently said, ‘You’re a jerk. I won’t talk to you anymore. You deceived me and you indoctrinated me.’

He won’t continue to handle the toxicity on his own, as he stated, “I won’t keep reaching out indefinitely.” He believes that the grown-ups involved should take more responsibility for resolving the issues. “I’m prepared to put forth an effort,” he said, “but someone else needs to be ready to meet me halfway and contribute their own effort as well.

Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Says Husband Kody Brown Has a “Murder Face”

For Robyn, watching Kody’s estrangement from his adult children hit far too close to home.

During the October 6th episode, she shared that her parents divorced when she was very young. At that time, her biological father lived with another woman in a different city, while her mother lived alone. She recalled asking him why he wasn’t around during her childhood, to which he provided unsatisfactory explanations. It was an unpleasant experience for her as his excuses didn’t make up for the absence that she felt.

Instead of letting Kody’s wounded emotions hinder his actions, it seemed clear that she wasn’t going to be deterred from exerting effort. In a heated confrontation captured for television towards the end of 2022, she candidly expressed her feelings: “I find it difficult not to question your respect just a bit,” she admitted.

Kody admitted that he could be making more efforts to repair his relationship with his children, but he emphasized that he needs to heal his own heart first.

He confided that some of his children seem to be conspiring against him, and he shared, “I’m so enraged about the situation that when I speak with my kids, I fear they might provoke me with allegations. At this moment, I’m too emotionally charged. All I can do is exacerbate the problem further.

Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Says Husband Kody Brown Has a “Murder Face”

Despite a large portion of the family being present at Logan’s wedding to Michelle Petty in October 2022, there seemed to be a lack of genuine warmth and affection among them.

In the October 6th episode, Kody expressed his frustration to Robyn, stating that he noticed Madison hurriedly taking her children away from him. He mentioned that his daughter hadn’t informed him about her third pregnancy, which resulted in the birth of their daughter Josephine in February 2023. Essentially, he said that she didn’t tell him she was expecting a child.

Frankly, Maddie doesn’t tell her dad much of anything with the two rarely speaking.

Janelle clarified that Maddie has no relationship with Kody, as the reason for her avoiding him at the wedding. She takes great care to protect her kids, and since Evie was born, Kody hasn’t been present. Therefore, Maddie didn’t want Kody to suddenly appear and claim to be their grandpa without proper introduction, leaving the children confused about his identity.

Kody believes it’s not feasible for grandparents to constantly be present in their grandchildren’s lives, as illustrated by Maddie’s situation in North Carolina. He added that this is particularly challenging if you relocate your children to a completely different coast because you have commitments and a life in Flagstaff.

It’s evident that Kody and his grown-up kids hold contrasting opinions regarding their prolonged estrangement. However, a key disagreement arises when Kody insists on receiving an apology or acknowledgment of wrongdoing from his children.

Following the resolution of the COVID-19 situation, life returned to normal for us, but our family was unable to reconcile. Kody expressed that his sons, particularly towards Robyn, needed to apologize for something, and he felt that talking things over with them directly would help resolve the issue. This is what Janelle shared in the October 13 episode.

According to Janelle, Kody was upset because he felt his children hadn’t been loyal to him, and moreover, the most cherished member of their family had been disrespected or treated unfairly, which she described as nonsense. Essentially, she responded to Kody with something like, “I don’t know, Kody. Whatever you say.

Gabriel expressed a similar viewpoint, narrating his discussion with his father. “He seemed to insist that I needed to apologize,” he told Janelle. “After a while, I said something like, ‘If you’re truly prepared to rebuild our relationship and mend things, then we won’t speak again unless that happens.’ A few days later, he texted me back. He wrote, ‘Hey, I’ve been pondering your words. I forgive you, Please forgive me.’ I responded, ‘Forgive me for what exactly?’

Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Says Husband Kody Brown Has a “Murder Face”

Among the six children Kody has together with Janelle, it is only Savanah he regularly interacts with. While it’s not often, every few months or so, they speak on the phone and occasionally meet up. The rest of their kids don’t seem to maintain much of a relationship with him. (Janelle explained this in the October 13 episode)

Regarding Savannah, who will graduate from high school in 2023, it is apparent that her four elder brothers have assumed a paternal role in her life. In fact, she has disclosed to Janelle that she might ask her siblings to accompany her down the aisle during her future wedding.

Janelle shared, ‘I had a conversation with Savanah about it, and she said something like, ‘Here’s the thing: I’ve figured out that this is just his nature.’ He’ll be the kind of father who joins us for fun times but might not always be around. I can accept him as he is, and that’s fine.’

Janelle, however, is less forgiving.

She was really upset about Kody,” she expressed. “You see, from my experience working with many women, a common pattern is that after a divorce, some fathers disappear and neglect their children.

Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Says Husband Kody Brown Has a “Murder Face”

Initially, when a distance crept into my relationship with Kody, I found it particularly challenging due to the fact that he used to invite me along on his business trips – an experience I cherished deeply. However, I must admit that prior to these recent years, Kody had always been an incredibly engaged father towards me.

Despite feeling puzzled about what might have upset his father, Gabriel asserted during the October 13 episode: “I told Dad that if he doesn’t transform and refuses to accept responsibility, then I simply won’t be around him anymore. And I’m completely content with that decision.

In her own words, she expressed that he feels content knowing his father isn’t part of his life. Moreover, it’s a wish I have for all my children, and I believe they are all moving in that direction.

For his part, Kody also seems resigned to the situation.

He expressed his apologies as Gabriel seems to feel this way, and he has attempted to reach out to him several times, yet those efforts were met with rejection. However, it’s essential to clarify that this was not due to any disinterest or negligence on his part.

In late 2022, Meri was the one who ended her union with Kody, officially severing their relationship within their faith, which they refer to as a “release,” based on allegations of abandonment.

She pointed out during the October 13 broadcast that he dislikes that particular word, as it doesn’t resonate with him that he left her. Instead, she believes he feels more like he wasn’t there for her when needed.

The missive was part of the reason she knew so quickly that now-husband David Woolley was her person.

“Family is his most important thing to him,” she gushed of the widowed dad of eight. “He’s owned his own drywall business. He has a reputation of being honest and real with people and he’s really a great communicator.”
