Six Flags Fright Fest Offers First look Inside The Conjuring Haunted House

As a seasoned gamer and horror enthusiast with a penchant for all things paranormal, I can hardly contain my excitement for this year’s Fright Fest Extreme at Six Flags! With its meticulously crafted haunted house inspired by The Conjuring Universe, it’s like getting a chance to step into the Warrens’ home without having to worry about any real-life possessions.

For the first time since 2013’s “The Conjuring”, the enigmatic duo of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, who were portrayed on screen, will give fans a chilling glimpse into their world when they visit the haunted house based on “The Conjuring Universe” at this year’s Fright Fest Extreme at Six Flags. This haunted house meticulously replicates their home, which serves as a repository for possessed artifacts, providing an experience eerily similar to entering the Warrens’ actual residence. A sneak peek of the new haunted house can be found in the concept art shown below. The Fright Fest Extreme at Six Flags starts in September and continues through early November at parks nationwide.

“According to Edithann Ramey, Six Flags’ Chief Fright Officer, the primary objective when designing this maze was to create an experience that would leave you absolutely terrified with no escape. You should start feeling like it all began here, finish and realize there’s a story revealed that will linger in your memory for quite some time. Drawing inspiration from the series, the maze is meticulously crafted to be mentally challenging, psychologically unsettling, and incredibly scary.”

According to a press release, Six Flags – the world’s biggest regional theme park company and operator of the most water parks in North America – has just revealed Fright Fest Extreme, sponsored by SNICKERS (details here). This includes an extensive roster of terrifying horror movie franchises, leading up to their much-anticipated annual event. Starting soon after Labor Day, adrenaline junkies and horror fans are invited to dive into the heart-pounding thrills and chilling terror that only Fright Fest can offer, with Six Flags’ largest investment and expansion yet.

As a lifelong fan of horror movies, I am beyond excited about this upcoming fall event! Ever since I saw the original Conjuring movie, I have been hooked on the series and can’t get enough of its spine-tingling stories. So when I heard that New Line Cinema is offering an authentic experience within The Conjuring universe, blending elements from all of its chilling series, including Annabelle and The Nun for the first time, I knew I had to be a part of it!

As museum visitors make their way through, they’ll encounter iconic movie settings such as Bathsheba’s Den, Annabelle’s Room, and St. Carta’s confessional. With lurking shadows, roaming demons, scarecrows, and the Crooked Man around, it will feel like you are being hunted in ‘The Conjuring’!

As a thrill-seeking gamer, I can’t contain my excitement! This year’s Fright Fest at Six Flags Great Adventure, Magic Mountain, Over Texas, and Fiesta Texas is opening early September and runs through November 3rd. Get ready to step into the chilling worlds of Netflix’s Stranger Things and Army of the Dead, Legendary Entertainment’s Trick R’Treat, Lionsgate’s SAW, and an experience based on the terrifying Legendary and Netflix’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre!
