Skate Finally Gets Early Access Release Window From EA

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I must say I’m downright thrilled about EA finally setting a release window for Skate! Ever since the announcement back in 2020, I’ve been eagerly awaiting any news regarding this long-anticipated game. The fact that it will launch in early access next year is music to my ears, as I can’t wait to dive into the world of Skate and provide valuable feedback to the dev team at Full Circle.

At last, EA’s reboot of Skate will have an early release window in the upcoming year. Back in 2020, EA and studio Full Circle announced the development of the fourth Skate game, which they called simply Skate. Since then, the team working on it has regularly updated us about its progress and even let some players test it in closed sessions. Now, EA is ready to bring it out into the open for everyone to enjoy!

Today on X, EA unveiled plans for the release of Skate in 2025. Initially, the game will be launched in early access format, with Full Circle later expanding upon it based on input from players. It’s been known since the project began that Full Circle intends to create this title using feedback from the gaming community.

Currently, there isn’t a particular month marked for Skate’s launch in 2025, but we won’t be waiting too much longer. EA has hinted that they will disclose further information about the skateboarding simulator’s release within the upcoming months. Given this, it appears likely that Skate might debut sometime during the first half of 2025, though this is speculation.

We can hardly contain our excitement as we unveil the news that skate. is set to debut in Early Access next year, 2025! Keep an eye out for further updates about its features and release details over the following months.

The main uncertainty surrounding the launch of Skate is whether it will make its early access debut on all platforms, given that it’s scheduled for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Typically, games in early access tend to first appear on PC before making their way to consoles once they reach version 1.0. However, the specific plan for Skate remains unclear at this time; we should know more details soon.
