As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be cruising the virtual streets on my board next summer, 2025! That’s when the skateboarding game “Skate Story,” developed by solo genius Sam Eng and published by Devolver Digital, is dropping on PS5. Can’t wait to feel the rush!
Originally planned exclusively for PC, the game centers around a skateboarding adventure featuring a character who’s a glass demon on a quest to complete a deal for the Devil.
Instead of typical skating games, Skate Story offers an immersive narrative journey as you navigate through the underworld’s successive levels. Yet, its primary focus remains on skating – expect to execute tricks and combos while exploring each ominous domain.
Through these actions you’ll meet new characters and even fight bosses.
In certain sections of the game, you’ll find ample room to glide without restriction, perfecting over 70 different tricks at your leisure. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to progress by completing unique challenges and tailoring your skateboard to suit your style.
This summer promises an incredible time for skateboarding enthusiasts, as both the original release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and its sequel Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 will be launching in July.
This coming summer is going to bring a lot of joy to skateboarding fans with the upcoming launches of both Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4, scheduled for release in July.
