There’s always room for more great horror games, and during the Future Games Show Summer Showcase, another intriguing one was officially presented. The publisher Blumhouse Games has unveiled “Sleep Awake,” a horror game with a psychedelic twist that’s generating some buzz.
Sleep Awake, helmed by Cory Davis, famed for his role as co-director of the 2012 hit third-person shooter Spec Ops: The Line, is being crafted with a hauntingly sinister soundtrack, created by Robin Finck from rock group Nine Inch Nails. In Sleep Awake, players assume the role of Katja, a resilient young woman in the final remaining city on Earth, desperately trying to dodge the ominous fate called The Hush, where anyone who falls asleep vanishes. Witness the unveiling trailer below.
Sleep Awake is expected to launch in 2026, supporting PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms. At this moment, you can add it to your wishlist on Steam, although a definite release date has not been disclosed for this horror game as of now.
