Although Sniper Elite games aren’t large-scale, high-budget AAA productions, Rebellion’s stealth shooter series consistently draws a sizable fanbase. Its latest release, the spinoff Sniper Elite: Resistance, appears to have had a strong debut, based on its physical sales in the UK.
According to the most recent weekly sales charts for physical software in the United Kingdom, Sniper Elite: Resistance was the top-selling video game last week. Approximately 80% of its sales were made on PlayStation platforms, as reported by Push Square.
Following closely behind Sniper Elite is a group of usual frontrunners like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (ranked second), Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (third place), Super Mario Party Jamboree (fourth) and Grand Theft Auto V (sixth).
