As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for tactical sniping and a soft spot for World War II-era games, I must say that the new gameplay reveal for Sniper Elite: Resistance has me thoroughly intrigued. The 12-minute showcase of Hotel Terminus is a testament to Rebellion’s commitment to delivering immersive, engaging gameplay.
In the latest update for Sniper Elite: Resistance, there’s some fresh gameplay action featuring a mission and a list of targets to be taken down by our hero, Harry Hawker. For a closer look at this operation at Hotel Terminus, please check out the 12-minute video demonstration below.
In the beginning, Hawker strategically identifies several nearby objectives and disables a generator for concealment purposes. Subsequently, he eliminates his targets systematically, using headshots and lung shots. Due to the need for a clear line of sight, Hawker adjusts his position to take out Claude La Ronde, a traitor collaborating with the Nazis. After executing a successful X-Ray Kill-Cam maneuver, La Ronde is crossed off the Kill List, leaving just another name behind.
Absolutely, Hotel Terminus remains an objective where he needs to gather intel. During gameplay, players will navigate through the building, sometimes even clinging to windows, and uncover hidden weapons along the way. After collecting the intel, they’ll make a thrilling escape using a zip-line.
The game titled “Sniper Elite: Resistance” is set to be released on January 30th, 2025, across various platforms including Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, as well as Game Pass.
