Sniper Elite: Resistance Showcases 9 Minutes of Stealthy Gameplay Footage

As a seasoned veteran of the Sniper Elite series, I can’t help but feel my heart racing with anticipation at the prospect of yet another thrilling adventure. Having spent countless hours in the cold grip of war, crouched behind cover and staring down the barrel of fate, I’ve come to appreciate the finesse and strategy that these games demand. The announcement of Sniper Elite: Resistance, set parallel to Sniper Elite 5, promises a return to familiar yet refreshingly new territory – Occupied France.

We’re always eager for more of the stealthy gameplay style found in the Sniper Elite series, and next year we’ll get just that! Earlier this month, Rebellion unveiled Sniper Elite: Resistance, a spin-off taking place alongside Sniper Elite 5. This time around, SOE agent Harry Hawker will be our main character as he embarks on a mission in occupied France.

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that the latest sneak peek into the new stealth game has truly piqued my interest. Having played countless hours of stealth games throughout my gaming journey, I can confidently say that the nine minutes of footage released by IGN is a promising indication of what’s to come. The expansive map design and multiple progression options are reminiscent of some of my favorite games in the genre, and I can’t wait to explore them for myself.

The game titled “Sniper Elite: Resistance” is expected to hit shelves in the year 2025, supporting platforms such as PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. However, the exact release date has yet to be announced. Additionally, it will be accessible through Game Pass on its debut day.
