Snoop Dogg Details "Kyrptonite" Bond With Daughter Cori After Stroke

As a devoted fan of Snoop Dogg and his family, I can’t help but be moved by the heartwarming bond between him and his daughter, Cori. Their relationship shines brightly through the images they share online, from playful hugs to loving embraces.

For Snoop Dogg, nothing is more significant than being a father, particularly in relation to his one and only daughter, Cori Broadus.

The rapper recently got candid about why his relationship with the 25-year-old is unlike any others in his family.

Snoop shared with Us Magazine (in an interview published October 11) that he has a very strong connection, saying, “She’s my only daughter, and that alone makes it unique and special.” He mentioned this while discussing his relationship with his daughter, who he also has sons Corde (30), Cordell (27), and Julian (26) with Shante Broadus as well as from a previous relationship.

Cori, in agreement with her father, conveyed to the media, “It’s a wonderful bond. I am the cherished princess. He had two sons before me, his little girl. It’s a unique kind of affection. One needs to be gentle, full of love, caring, sensitive, and delicate.

Plus, Cori’s lifelong health struggles have made the “Gin and Juice” musician even more protective.

Cori shared that they fell ill with lupus at age 6, which deeply affected them as they watched their baby girl experience similar health issues. At such a young age, it’s challenging to articulate feelings. All one knows is feeling unwell while everyone else appears okay. This sense of isolation draws them closer together.

Their bond only grew stronger after Cori suffered a stroke earlier this year at the age of 24.

Snoop acknowledged that recalling that particular day is challenging for him. To those familiar with him, it’s well-known that his daughter holds a special power over him, similar to Kryptonite in the Superman story.

The 53-year-old emphasized, “This experience has taught us to live each day as if it’s your last and to act with love. It serves as a reminder to prioritize our health and pay attention to our bodies’ signals.
