Howard’s masterpieces, I can’t help but be thrilled by the upcoming collaboration between Heroic Signatures and Titan Comics, particularly the revival of Solomon Kane with “Solomon Kane: The Serpent Ring.
The partnership between Heroic Signatures and Titan Comics, known for their Conan the Barbarian series, is expanding with Solomon Kane. Solomon Kane, a character from the vast imagination of legendary writer Robert E. Howard, will be the focus of an upcoming comic book titled “Solomon Kane: The Serpent Ring“. Set to debut next year, this comic will be penned by Patrick Zircher, both writer and artist. Throughout the week, ComicBook will offer exclusive sneak peeks at “Solomon Kane: The Serpent Ring” #1, featuring interior art and covers from some of the comics industry’s leading artists. To initiate this series, we are showcasing J.H. Williams III’s cover for Issue #1, as well as a solicitation and an interior page by Zircher himself.
Artist J.H. Williams III lends his distinctive artistic flair to Cover A of “Solomon Kane: The Serpent Ring” #1. This cover depicts Solomon Kane standing victoriously atop a colossal serpent statue, with the reptile’s mouth wide open and a human skull perched precariously on its tongue. Meanwhile, Patrick Zircher’s interior art captures Solomon engaged in a fierce battle on a pirate ship, where he brandishes a pistol in one hand and a sword in the other, his coat billowing in the wind amidst the chaos of the fight.
