In the captivating world of EastEnders, I, Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy), am on the verge of unraveling long-hidden truths about my father, Terry Cant (Glen Davies). This is all happening after a momentous encounter that marks our first meeting.
Tonight’s (April 14th, 2025) episode of the BBC soap opera saw Sonia taken aback when Terry, who claimed to be her father, appeared at her doorstep.
Initially, Terry emerged within a circle of individuals passionate about true crimes, eagerly anticipating details regarding Sonia and Bianca Jackson’s (played by Patsy Palmer) experiences with the murderer Reiss Colwell (portrayed by Jonny Freeman).
Keeping watch, Terry was confronted by Bianca, who was not impressed to see him.
On Tuesday the 15th of April, you’ll see Sonia listening attentively as Terry attempts to clarify his reasons for approaching her only now.
However, Bianca expresses her displeasure by making it evident in these photos as Sonia interacts with Terry.
Meanwhile, Terry looks animated as he speaks with Sonia, but what will he say to her?
Several decades ago, Carol Jackson (played by Lindsey Coulson), the mother of Sonia and Bianca, disclosed details about her tumultuous past with Terry, a man who often resorted to physical violence against her.
Carol mentioned that Terry departed from the family residence not long after Sonia was born, and he took with him anything that wasn’t firmly secured.
In the year 2020, Sonia made an attempt to locate her father. However, she was deceived by a man named Tom ‘Rocky’ Cotton, who falsely presented himself as Terry.
Despite Sonia discovering the truth about Rocky and ultimately forgiving him, she was unable to locate the genuine Terry.
Since Terry discovered Sonia on his own, will he acknowledge his past misconduct – and what reaction can we expect from Sonia?
