Sega unveiled “Sonic Rumble” approximately a year ago, with plans for its launch within the winter season. However, that didn’t materialize as expected. Yet, we now have an update on the release date, and it’s close at hand.
Sega has revealed that “Sonic Rumble” will be released globally on May 8, one month from now. In this game, up to 32 players will face off in each match, navigating platforming courses reminiscent of various Sonic games in a battle royale-style competition akin to “Fall Guys”.
As an eager fan, I’m thrilled to share that when the game launches, it will introduce progression mechanics—skills and skill slots being part of this system. This feature will enable us to advance in the game and collaborate with other players through a crew system. To get a better feel for the action-packed gameplay, don’t miss the release date announcement trailer below!
At launch, Sonic Rumble will be available for PC (via Steam), iOS, and Android.
