Sonja Morgan Rushed to Hospital?! The Truth!

Sonja Morgan is sharing her side of the story.

Previously unspoken words emerged from the ex-star of The Real Housewives of New York City following images circulated by TMZ, which depicted her departing Echo restaurant in Palm Beach, Florida, in an ambulance on May 15th.

In simpler terms, Sonja said to People on May 16 that at a restaurant where we were having dinner together, an older person seemed troubled. I requested medical help. While helping during the chaos, I got some small wounds. To be safe, I went with the paramedics for a check-up.

Despite being taken away in an ambulance, Sonja, aged 61, clarified that she had chosen to stay and assist the distressed patron.

The performer from Sonja In Your City expressed, “I really didn’t want to go, and I made certain that she received proper care.

Furthermore, Sonja conveyed her heartfelt appreciation towards the medical team who were part of the situation, stating, “I am deeply appreciative of the quick response and high level of professionalism shown by the first responders.

The event transpired following the passing away of John Adams Morgan, Sonja’s former spouse, in February at the ripe age of 94.

Although the reality star remains silent regarding his death, their daughter Quincy Morgan expressed her feelings on social media following the event.

I wanted to share some sad news with everyone: my father passed away earlier this month. On February 7, I posted about it on Instagram Stories. My family and I are going through this tough time together. I deeply loved and respected my dad, and I’m incredibly grateful for the love and support I’ve received in these past weeks.

Quincy added that she “took a break from work to navigate this loss.”

Sonja and John, a relative of former U.S. Presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams, tied the knot in 1998 but parted ways in 2006, four years prior to her joining RHONY during its third season.

As a die-hard fan, I couldn’t tear myself away from “Crappie Lake” alumna throughout season 13. However, when Bravo decided to shake up the franchise by introducing an entirely fresh cast, I found myself rooting for them just as passionately as I had for my original favorite, thanks to Sonja’s show of support at that crucial time.

In 2023, the reality star expressed to TopMob News that they’ve been hearing positive remarks about those girls, particularly Jenna Lyons. They mentioned that they believe they would enjoy working with her during filming and also expressed interest in appearing on the show alongside her.

During her absence from RHONY, Sonja managed to reconnect with her co-stars including Luann De Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, and Ramona Singer (among others) for season 4 of the show Ultimate Girls Trip.

She said, “Every event has its purpose.” In other words, she believes that this unexpected turn of events was beneficial for us to reconnect. It seems like it’s a common experience, as I often hear that the most unforgettable journeys are those taken by the girls from New York. We have a knack for living luxuriously and enjoying ourselves at the same time. There’s no apology needed for our approach to life.

Previously part of Bachelor Nation, this individual disclosed that he had to visit the hospital by crawling on hands and knees because of intense back pain that worsened during a camping trip in an RV with a companion.

Currently, there’s a strange sensation from my knees to my toes, he remarked during his Trading Secrets podcast episode in March 2025. To give you an idea, about two or three weeks ago, perhaps even a month ago, I was squatting around 295 pounds. Now, I can’t do a single-leg squat without falling over, it’s as if I suffered a stroke or something. He tried to avoid sounding arrogant when he said this.

But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

In a game held in December 2024, an AHL player got injured when another player’s skate accidentally sliced him open. He needed 25 stitches to close the wound. Later, when his father, New Jersey Devils general manager Tom Fitzgerald, spoke to ESPN after his son had fully healed, he expressed gratitude by saying, “We were incredibly fortunate. I wouldn’t wish such an incident on any parent.

Back in February 2025, I found myself in an unexpected situation when I was unintentionally shot in the face during a celebratory clay pigeon shooting excursion for my beloved husband, Brendan Rooney’s birthday.

In a recent unfortunate incident, I found myself caught up in a chaotic situation where another party recklessly discharged their firearm carelessly, striking me in the face. Fortunately, @thebrendanrooney swiftly responded, assessing my injuries on the spot and rushing me promptly to the hospital. Remarkably, I was hit in five locations, one of which was mere inches away from my right eye. Thankfully, it missed its mark.

The former star of “Kim Possible” went on to say, “Regrettably, a piece became stuck at the back of my eye, and it’s not safe to take out surgically right now. My doctors are keeping an eye on me (I can see fine for now).

In her own words, the actress expressed profound gratitude for being alive. She shared how deeply she cherishes her daughters, husband, family, and friends. Recalling a moment when she felt her life slipping away, she emphasized the importance of seizing every opportunity to embrace those close to us. In a heartbeat, life can take an unexpected turn. So, she implores everyone to express love and affection towards their loved ones as often as possible.

Although the internet can sometimes be unkind, Amy Schumer is grateful that this time it provided her with valuable insights. In a 2025 episode of Call Her Daddy, she reminisced about the backlash she received following media appearances, saying, “The internet was particularly critical after my press rounds, and I thought, ‘Everyone, calm down.'” However, medical professionals began commenting as well, suggesting that something might be amiss with her health, given her unusual appearance.

Astonished, Amy reflected, “I’m being trolled by doctors?” The doctors speculated that she might have Cushing syndrome, possibly caused by high cortisol levels or steroid injections. This led the Life & Beth creator to recall, “I had been receiving steroid injections for my scars from a breast reduction and a C-section.”

Upon realizing this, Amy thought, “Wait, I’ve been getting these steroid injections that caused me to develop Cushing syndrome, something I wouldn’t have known without the internet’s harsh critique.” Today, Amy is relieved to know she’s healthy. As she wrote in a 2024 News Not Noise newsletter, “Discovering that my type of Cushing would resolve itself and that I am healthy was the best news I could have hoped for.

Hailey Bieber experienced a terrifying incident in March 2022 during breakfast with her husband Justin Bieber. She began having symptoms similar to a stroke, such as facial drooping and difficulty speaking. Although these symptoms subsided, she went to the hospital to ensure her health was not compromised.

The medical scans revealed a small blood clot in Hailey’s brain, which they classified as a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA). Further investigations at the University of California, Los Angeles, disclosed that she had a hole in her heart called patent foramen ovale (PFO). The blood clot had traveled into her heart through this hole, escaped to her brain, causing the TIA.

Hailey underwent a successful PFO closure procedure and reported feeling well since then.

In the same year Hailey Bieber faced a health crisis, Justin Bieber also went through a similar ordeal. Specifically, in June 2022, Justin revealed his diagnosis with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which caused temporary paralysis in parts of his face and led to him postponing the rest of his Justice World Tour. In an Instagram video at the time, he explained that “This virus attacks the nerve in my ear and facial nerves, causing the paralysis you see on this side of my face.” He noted that symptoms included an unblinking eye, inability to smile from one side, and a stationary nostril.

He further mentioned that it had become progressively harder for him to eat, but eventually, the paralysis subsided. On a June 2022 episode of Good Morning America, Hailey Bieber shared that Justin was recovering well, feeling much better despite the unexpected and alarming situation. She added that she was grateful he was fine in the end.

Initially shrouding his April 2023 hospitalization in secrecy, Jamie Foxx eventually shared details about his ordeal. In his 2024 Netflix special titled “What Had Happened Was…,” the Academy Award-winner recalled the incident: “One day in Atlanta, I complained of a severe headache and asked for an aspirin, but before I could take it, I passed out. I can’t recall the next 20 days.”

Upon visiting a doctor who administered a cortisone shot and sent him home, Foxx’s sister Deidra Dixon became concerned and drove him to another hospital. There, they discovered he had suffered a brain bleed that resulted in a stroke.

Twenty days later, following surgery on May 4, the “Django Unchained” actor woke up in a wheelchair unable to walk. He then traveled to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy.

“All I can say is that I am grateful for every prayer,” he expressed, “because I needed every one of them.

As a devoted fan, I can share that I, much like Emilia Clarke, was involved in intense battle scenes on the set of Game of Thrones. However, unlike those fictional battles, my real-life struggle unfolded off-screen. In 2019, I penned an essay for The New Yorker titled “A Battle for My Life.”

One day at the gym, a severe headache forced me to rush to the restroom where I was violently ill. The pain intensified, described as shooting, stabbing, and constricting. I felt my brain was injured. Rushed to the hospital, they discovered I had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage, a critical type of stroke caused by bleeding in the brain. An aneurysm, an arterial rupture, was the culprit.

I underwent immediate surgery to seal the aneurysm, and the pain was almost unbearable. During my recovery, I experienced aphasia, often muttering nonsensical words. A week later, the aphasia subsided, and I was discharged from the hospital after a month.

A subsequent 2013 brain scan revealed that the growth had doubled in size, necessitating another surgery. “When they woke me,” I wrote, “I was screaming in pain. The procedure had failed. My chances of survival were precarious if they didn’t operate again.” Fortunately, I am now fully recovered and at 100%.

Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, expresses her gratitude towards her family who stood by her during a critical time. In January 2024, she experienced a severe stroke and shared the news with her loved ones via text messages along with a picture. Upon hearing this, everyone rushed to help her, showing their unwavering support.

Due to additional health issues, Cori’s hospital stay was extended beyond what she had initially anticipated. “I could have been discharged after my stroke,” she explained in an interview with TopMob News correspondent Will Marfuggi in December 2024, “but my lupus wasn’t cooperating, and my kidneys were failing. It was a challenging period.”

Now, Cori is recovering well. “I’m doing well,” she reassured. “I had to regain some motor skills, but other than that, I am fine.

During her twenties, the health issues faced by actress Shailene Woodley were quite challenging. To the point where she started losing her hearing, could barely walk for more than a few minutes without needing long hours of sleep, and found everything she ate upset her stomach. She was diagnosed with various conditions and received conflicting advice from different doctors.

Determined to find answers, Shailene, who has a background in holistic medicine and herbalism, sought help from both conventional and alternative healers. This quest for healing took ten years. During this time, the discomfort she felt physically led to other issues such as fear of food, body dysmorphia, confusion about identity, and feeling unsafe in her own skin.

After addressing both her physical and mental health issues, Shailene is now feeling much better. She shared that her health issues eventually resolved themselves, leaving her healthy and happy today.
