Sony Subsidiary ANIPLEX Remembered PS5 Is a Legit Platform

As a gamer myself, I’ve noticed that even though ANIPLEX is part of the Sony family, known for creating the PS5, they seem to have a soft spot for PC and Nintendo Switch when it comes to game releases.

It’s not problematic for us if this Sony Music subsidiary continues to launch products on competing platforms. However, it has always seemed a bit unconventional to us that they wouldn’t even consider preparing a PlayStation port, especially considering our hopes for the Fate remasters and The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy to be available on PlayStation as well. (Yes, this is us subtly asking for the Fate remasters and The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy to come to PlayStation.)

As a passionate gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled about the upcoming release of the pixel art RPG, HYKE: Northern Light(s). Despite its unusual typography style, which some might find challenging, it’s reassuring to know that it will be available on Sony’s console at launch.

In this game, you embark on an enchanting journey reminiscent of EarthBound, taking on the role of a witch who has a customizable campervan as your means of transportation.

Beyond the fight scenes, you’ll have the freedom to customize your campsite during downtime, deciding on its layout and relaxation spots. It’s quite endearing, blending elements of nostalgic gaming with a touch of old-school RPG.

This summer is when the game will be released, and you can preview what it might offer by watching the trailer linked above.
