As a long-time fan of Warframe and its developer Digital Extremes, I was thrilled to learn more about their upcoming free-to-play MMORPG, Soulframe, during TennoCon 2024. The latest gameplay footage presented at the event gave us a deeper insight into various aspects of the game, including customization mechanics, crafting potions and elixirs, and intense combat sequences.
As a long-time fan of Warframe, I’m thrilled to see the game continuing to excel and evolve. Digital Extremes has always been dedicated to delivering high-quality content for their free-to-play looter shooter, but it’s also impressive to see them exploring new projects like Soulframe.
As a gamer, I watched the new gameplay footage with excitement and discovered fresh insights into various aspects of the game. The customization mechanics and crafting potions and elixirs, which will be handled by Verminia, the Rat Witch, became clearer to me. Additionally, combat scenes were displayed, as anticipated.
In the reveal, a fresh antagonist named Nimrod was introduced. Equipped with a melee staff coiled with Tesla current and the ability to summon thunder, this recurring adversary was showcased. Furthermore, a sneak peek at a boss battle against the colossal armored bear Bromius was given, along with new insights into the game’s background, narrative, and mythology. You can watch the entire presentation here.
Soulframe is in development for PC. A release date has yet to be announced.
