Southern Charm's Craig Conover Breaks Silence on Paige DeSorbo Split

Craig Conover is still “shocked” over the end of his relationship with Paige DeSorbo.

Following the announcement by the 32-year-old star of “Summer House” that they had ended their three-year relationship, the 35-year-old star from “Southern Charm” is now sharing insights about their choice to part ways.

In a video posted to Instagram Stories on January 7th, Craig expressed that he believes it’s high time for him to catch up with everyone, apologizing for any delay. He also mentioned that everything that has transpired recently took him by surprise, to put it mildly.

The Bravo personality acknowledged that he’s adjusting to a fresh routine, implying that the split occurred just before the holiday season.

He expressed his surprise strongly, but assured that everything is alright. He went on to explain that being in a relationship requires participation from two individuals. Moreover, one can’t dictate other people’s actions, only their response to those actions is within their control.

That said, Craig also wants everyone to extend grace to his now-ex.

He shared, “I’m taking time to absorb everything that happened because we were in a three-year relationship, and my closest confidant was always by my side, talking throughout each day. Now, they’re not around anymore. Eventually, I’ll have more to say about it, but for now, I want to express my gratitude for the heartfelt messages everyone has sent me.

In my perspective as a lifestyle advisor, I find it intriguing that Craig’s recent comments follow Paige’s revelation about their unexpected separation. What I gather from her disclosure is that neither party was specifically at fault, stating “nothing in particular” led to the breakup.
