Soni shared that she will carry on with the role of Spider-Man. Recording for this project is set to begin in a few months, something she’s eagerly anticipating. The movie is currently deep in production, featuring animation which makes the process unique and time-consuming. While it’s uncertain when it will be ready for release, she’s thrilled about it. Playing that character was one of her greatest joys, so she’s looking forward to another opportunity to reprise the role.
Why Is Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse Getting Delayed?
2023 saw rumors swirl after the launch of “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” suggesting that the sequel, initially titled “Beyond the Spider-Verse,” might be pushed back. This was due to whispers of production difficulties and artists and animators claiming there had been little to no progress made so far. As producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller recently shared with egmr.ru, their priority is ensuring that “Spider-Verse” is executed perfectly, rather than meeting a specific release date.
In essence, Lord mentioned that they will devote the required time to ensure Beyond the Spider-Verse is exceptional, and they won’t rush into a release date that doesn’t align well.

In my excitement, I can’t help but share that the upcoming movie, “Beyond the Spider-Verse“, promises to delve into the aftermath of the nail-biting finale of “Across the Spider-Verse“. As a Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) fan, I’m eagerly anticipating his predicament – trapped in another universe, facing a darker version of himself, played by Jharrel Jerome.
