Spider-Man Faces Deadly New Predator Threatening His Loved Ones in Exclusive Comic Reveal!

In a thrilling new turn of events, it’s up to Spider-Man to safeguard a cherished loved one from a fearsome and lethal alien Predator. This ruthless hunter has left havoc in its wake across various Marvel Universe stories, even clashing with characters like Wolverine and Black Panther. Now, the Predator has zeroed in on our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. In recent comics published by Marvel, we see a collaboration between Marvel and 20th Century Studios, with tales featuring both Alien and Predator stories individually or intertwined with the broader Marvel Universe. Readers can now experience the exciting confrontation between this Predator and the Amazing Spider-Man!

In a unique twist, ComicBook offers an exclusive sneak peek at Predator Vs. Spider-Man #1, penned by Benjamin Percy with artwork by Marcelo Ferreira, Jay Leisten, and Frank D’Armata. The story commences at a grisly crime scene where the victims are found to be missing various body parts like a jaw, rib, and finger, and their skin appears to have been meticulously carved away. The suspect or killer goes by the name “Skinner,” which happens to be our latest Predator’s alias.

Next, we transition to Spider-Man, now out of his everyday attire as Peter Parker. Peter phones J. Jonah Jameson, informing him he’s got something for him, while Spider-Man soars through the skyline of New York City. Meanwhile on the ground, Mary Jane Watson is aboard a subway, rehearsing lines for A Streetcar Named Desire, perhaps en route to an audition. Suddenly, the subway lights fail, and Mary Jane comforts a panicked woman suffering from claustrophobia.

As a passionate filmgoer, I found myself captivated by a scene where an exterior view of a subway car transitions to an infrared image, hinting at the presence of our elusive Predator. A sudden suspicion crosses my mind as I believe I spot someone lurking outside the window. The briefest of glimpses reveals a faint outline of a face returning my gaze from behind the glass.

Spider-Man is every writer’s dream character, and I feel lucky and appreciative to have this chance,” Percy expressed. “I can’t wait to pit Spidey against the galaxy’s deadliest hunters in the gritty streets of New York City. Exploring Peter Parker’s world is a joy, and I’m excited to add my unique touch to his interactions with MJ, Jonah Jameson, and indeed, Kraven. Marvelo Ferreira beautifully captures Spidey’s visual energy, and we’ve had a blast creating a Predator unlike any other. Our character, Skinner, doesn’t belong to any code or clan. He makes for a terrifying contrast to the kind-hearted Parker.

SPIDER-MAN vs. PREDATOR in the Toughest Battle Yet!”

In the previous series, we saw a Predator take on Earth’s top prey such as Wolverine and Black Panther. Now, acclaimed author Ben Percy is taking us into the dark world of Marvel’s favorite hero: Spider-Man! A citywide heatwave causes a blackout in New York City, making it a dangerous place for Spider-Man to patrol as tensions rise throughout the city. However, beneath the city’s grimy underbelly lurks an enemy unlike any Peter Parker has ever faced – ‘Skinner,’ a ruthless Predator with no honor or clan, only a thirst for blood. The incredible artwork is brought to life by superstar artist Marcelo Ferreira!

If you’re a fan of Predator, there are some exciting new projects on the horizon. The director behind the Emmy-winning Prey, Dan Trachtenberg, will be leading Predator: Badlands and is also working on an animated anthology titled Predator: Killer of Killers.
