As a gamer and comic book enthusiast who has spent countless hours immersed in the vibrant universes of Marvel and Ultraman, I must say that the new crossover manga, “Ultraman: Along Came A Spider-Man,” is an exhilarating fusion of two iconic franchises. The first two chapters have set the stage for a thrilling adventure, as Peter Parker, our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, finds himself in a world where giants heroes battle monstrous threats.

In the recent years, Marvel has ventured into the realm of manga by collaborating with other iconic superhero franchises. This collaboration has resulted in exciting concepts and spinoffs. The latest venture is a full-blown crossover with Ultraman and Tsuburaya Productions, titled “Ultraman: Spider-Man’s Arrival.” The initial two chapters of this new manga series have been released, transporting Spider-Man into an entirely different world.

Ultraman Meets Spider-Man: In this storyline, we encounter Spider-Man as he teams up with the Marvel Avengers in a heroic mission to save countless lives. The tragic loss of his Uncle Ben has instilled within Peter Parker an immense sense of duty to protect everyone. However, during a fierce battle against Dr. Doom, Peter is critically wounded and struck by a strange train that transports him through dimensions, landing him in the Japan of Ultraman’s universe.

Spider-Man Meets Ultraman in Another World

In Chapter 1 of “Ultraman: A Spider-Man Encounter”, we meet Peter Parker who teams up with the Avengers in an attempt to rescue people trapped in a ruined building. However, when the battle shifts to another location, Peter clashes with Iron Man over prioritizing the few rather than the many. Opting to stay behind, it soon transpires that this was a trap set by Dr. Doom, who almost eliminates Peter with missile assaults. On the brink of defeat, Peter is unexpectedly struck by a train that miraculously materializes.

The train travels across multiple universes, and it turns out that Dr. Doom is among its passengers. He throws Peter off the train, and unexpectedly, Peter lands in Japan – not just any Japan though, but the one where Shin Hayata can transform into the powerful hero, Ultraman. As they join forces, it remains to be seen how these two distinct heroes will collaborate and blend their strategies for tackling larger battles ahead.
