Nicolas Cage shared the number of installments in the initial run of “Spider-Noir” with great clarity. “Forty-five minutes per episode translates to eight episodes in total,” he explained to The New Yorker. “That’s similar to four feature films within a five-month timeframe. I have another project to prepare for and one following it right after.”
Approximately eight episodes appear to be an ideal number for producing TV shows adapted from comic books. Shows like “The Boys” have followed this pattern with each season consisting of eight episodes. Marvel’s series on Disney+ generally fall within the range of six to ten episodes per season.
