As a gaming enthusiast, I can’t help but get pumped about the upcoming title, Split Fiction, from the same creators who brought us It Takes Two and A Way Out. Electronic Arts (EA) has recently dropped a fresh trailer for this game, and it looks like another burst of creativity and fun, much like its predecessors.
As young authors Zoe and Mio, you’ll embark on an adventure in this duo-only cooperative game. Together with your partner, you’ll explore fantastical and futuristic landscapes inspired by both writers’ tales as you journey through the unique worlds each author has created.
The fresh trailer offers a glimpse into several cooperative aspects embedded within the game’s adventure, making it evident that this title promises to be equally rich in diversity and creativity, as has been tradition for Hazelight Studios in their past projects.
It’s evidently apparent that there’s something for everyone, whether it involves zipping around on advanced motorcycles in surreal landscapes, transforming into extraordinary beasts, or pestering a colossal snoozing cat. Diversity rules!
As a thrilled fan, I’m excited to share that the studio is really going all out with Side Stories! These portals hidden at specific locations promise to whisk our beloved duo off to entirely new realms. It looks like this game will be brimming with innovative mechanics and a mind-blowing variety of settings.
We’re really looking forward to giving this one a try, and luckily, we don’t have much longer to go! Split Fiction will be available on PS5 starting March 6th, 2025. It includes a Friend Pass system, so only the person who purchased the game needs to do so for both players to enjoy it together.
