The developers at Electronic Arts and Hazelight Studios have recently disclosed more information about their upcoming cooperative adventure titled “Split Fiction“. It’s been verified that it will run on the Steam Deck, although the PC requirements were already known. What’s new is the confirmation of the resolution and frame rate for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
All versions of the game run at 60 frames per second. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X offer dynamic 4K resolution, but the Xbox Series S version will be in 1080p. It’s not unexpected that stronger consoles might have a dynamic resolution, as this was also seen in the game “It Takes Two.
Split Fiction” debuts on March 6th, featuring cross-platform gameplay. With its Friends Pass system, you only need one copy to enjoy online sessions with others, regardless of the platform. Director Josef Fares has disclosed that the main story spans around 12 to 14 hours, but additional content extends the playtime further. For more information, check it out here.
