As a long-time fan of animated series, I can’t help but feel nostalgic and excited about Nickelodeon’s announcement of special episodes to celebrate SpongeBob SquarePants‘ 25th anniversary!
To put it simply, after 25 exciting years on Nickelodeon, SpongeBob SquarePants is commemorating its anniversary with new special episodes! This beloved animated series debuted on July 17, 1997, and since then, it has spawned numerous connected shows, movies, crossovers, and more. Fortunately for us, there’s no sign of SpongeBob SquarePants losing steam anytime soon!
To put it simply, for the 25th anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants, there are some unique episodes coming up on Nickelodeon. One of these is named “In the Mood to Feud,” which will be aired on July 16th at 5:00PM ET/PT. In this special episode, SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy get drawn into the age-old conflict between the Narwhals and the Planktons. There’s an exciting possibility that we’ll encounter more members of the Plankton family, as well as a first glimpse into the parents and cousins of Narlene and Nobby from Kamp Koral.
