As I delve into the lives of these remarkable individuals, it’s truly astounding to see how far they’ve come since their days on Gossip Girl. Bowie Ella, the daughter of Formaughter and Brad Richardson, is still just a baby, but her life already seems destined for greatness given her parents’ accomplishments.

At KidSuper’s Funny Business Volume III Comedy Fashion Show, Taylor Momsen, formerly of Gossip Girl, confidently showcased a daring look that was far from modest, sporting pasties and printed trousers instead.

As if we need further proof she’s further left her days as Little J in the past.

When she was 14, she landed the role of Dan Humphrey’s younger sister Jenny who yearned to fit in. In the fourth season of the popular CW show, this young actress abandoned her plaid skirts and flashy necklaces for good. This decision came shortly after she started her rock band, The Pretty Reckless.

In an interview with TopMob News back in May, she shared that she dedicated herself solely to music at the age of 18, abandoning other pursuits. She described this choice as the most rewarding one she’s ever made, as it aligns with her deepest passion.

Indeed, by that time, the series, initially airing in September 2007, had already exploded into a pop culture sensation. It impacted fashion (didn’t it feel like every girl started sporting headbands and vibrant leg warmers?), language (with phrases like “OMFG!” becoming commonplace), and undoubtedly catapulted its young actors to stardom.

The team led by GG, which includes Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford, Jessica Szohr, and Momsen, rose to prominence. Later on, during the series’ six-season run, Sebastian Stan and Hilary Duff also joined the action on the Upper East Side.

Indeed, they were all seen together quite often, including Badgley, Lively, Westwick, and Szohr. As there were many attractive actors in the same vicinity during their time on the show, it’s no surprise that romantic entanglements occurred, as Crawford pointed out during a 2024 interview on Call Her Daddy, likening it to a shared college experience.

And while an HBO Max reboot found its own fanbase for two seasons starting in 2021, you know you still love the OG stars, XOXO.

Wondering about their activities after departing from the Met’s doorstep? We’d be delighted to share that piece of information with you!

Since the conclusion of “Gossip Girl,” the actress who played Serena van der Woodsen has been quite occupied. In fact, a few months before the 2012 finale, she married actor Ryan Reynolds and together they now have four children: daughters James, Inez, and Betty, as well as son Olin, born in 2023. Over the past few years, she has also appeared in several successful films such as “The Age of Adaline,” “The Shallows,” “A Simple Favor,” and “The Rhythm Section.

Once a solitary lad, Badgley’s former role as Dan Humphrey (spoiler: he was indeed Gossip Girl) has now given way to him being in the spotlight for his portrayal of the stalker Joe Goldberg on the popular Netflix show “You”.

In a more personal aspect, it’s worth mentioning that Badgley is married. He exchanged vows with Domino Kirke, who is the sister of “Girls” actress Jemima Kirke, back in February 2017. They became parents for the first time together in August 2020. For those who recall, Badgley and Lively were a couple during the initial phases of “GG”, but they parted ways in 2010.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but marvel at the remarkable strides made by the enchanting Blair Waldorf, the Upper East Side’s privileged queen, in the realm of comedy. Lately, she’s been creating quite a stir, gracing the screens on ABC’s hit series, Single Parents.

Master got married to the actor best known as Seth Cohen from ‘The O.C’, Adam Brody. Together they have a daughter named Arlo who was born in 2015 and a son, whose name remains undisclosed, born in 2020.

For six consecutive seasons, fans adored the character Nate Archibald portrayed by Crawford. Following the 2012 series finale, Crawford has taken on roles in ABC’s “Blood & Oil”, as well as movies like “Eloise” and “All About Nina”. Currently, Crawford stars in the Amazon original series “The Boys”, which was renewed for a fifth and final season in May 2024.

After becoming well-known for his role as Chuck Bass, and having put away his iconic scarf, he later appeared in the 2013 adaptation of “Romeo & Juliet” and headlined the short-lived ABC drama “Wicked City.” Additionally, he starred in the British TV series “White Gold.

Beginning in the autumn of 2017, the Los Angeles Police Department initiated an investigation concerning sexual assault accusations brought forth by multiple women against Westwick. He denied these allegations. In July 2018, the District Attorney’s office in Los Angeles County opted not to press charges against Westwick, as they found insufficient evidence for two instances and a third complainant chose not to collaborate with investigators.

Over the past several years, Westwick has been in a relationship with actress Amy Jackson. They officially announced their engagement in January 2024 and got married in Italy that same year, in August.

Since struggling to join Blair’s group, Little J (Jessica Momsen) has made significant progress. At only 14 years old, she captured the role of Jenny Humphrey on “Gossip Girl,” but her love for music, which had been burning since childhood, led her to depart from the show in 2010. Instead, she went ahead to establish and lead her band, The Pretty Reckless, at the age of 17.

Regarding a possible comeback to acting, I’ve learned not to rule anything out these days with the unexpected twists life throws our way. However, at the moment, there are no imminent plans on my agenda for a return. I shared this during my recent appearance at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards, marking my first red carpet event in five years.

Szohr made a splash in Hollywood with her debut as Vanessa Abrams in the series GG. Since then, this talented actress has graced our screens in movies like The Internship, Ted 2, and Two Night Stand. She’s also been a frequent face on television shows such as Kingdom, Shameless, and The Orville.

In January 2021, she welcomed daughter Bowie Ella into the world alongside her future husband, professional hockey player Brad Richardson. They officially became a married couple in August 2024.

After the finale in 2012, the sarcastic narrator (who resurfaced for the 2021 reboot) got married to long-term partner Dax Shepard. They became parents to a daughter named Lincoln in March 2013 and welcomed another daughter, Delta, 21 months later. In her acting career, she featured in the Hulu revival of Veronica Mars and NBC’s The Good Place. Additionally, she starred in the Bad Moms series and provides the voice for Anna in Disney’s Frozen and Frozen 2.

You might recall Bucky Barnes’ stint on the TV show “Gossip Girl”. Indeed, he played the character Carter Baizen for 11 episodes between 2007 and 2010. During this period, he had a romantic involvement with Leighton Meester who portrayed his on-screen love interest.

Ever since appearing on the show, Stan has gained widespread recognition due to his portrayal of Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier in the Captain America and Avengers movies. He has further appeared on Disney+’s The Falcon and Winter Soldier alongside Anthony Mackie and on Hulu’s Pam & Tommy.

It’s amazing to think that over 10 years have passed since Duff last appeared as a guest on GG. During her six-episode stint, she portrayed Hollywood actress Olivia Burke, who developed a romance with Dan while both were attending NYU. Most notably, Olivia was involved in a controversial threesome with Dan’s friend, the infamous Lonely Boy, and his close friend Vanessa.

After that, Duff has been featured in her own successful TV series titled “Younger” and “How I Met Your Father”. She was all set to revisit the platform sandals of Lizzie McGuire for a Disney+ revival, but unfortunately, it didn’t materialize due to disagreements on creative directions.

In the year 2019, the singer known as “So Yesterday” tied the knot with musician Matthew Koma. Together, they have three daughters – Banks, Mae, and Townes. Additionally, she is also the mother of a son named Luca, who was born from her previous marriage to Mike Comrie.
