However, concerning the narrative of Season 3, with Gi-hun losing everything, even his closest friend, and every effort failing, one might wonder what kind of person he will become now.
“What state is Gi-hun going to be in? And what will he choose to do.
Will he carry on with his mission, or will he choose to quit and give up? This is where you’ll encounter our character, Gi-hun, at a crucial turning point as we delve into the start of the third season.
“Gi-hun will not be the man he was in season 2.”
The third and last season of Squid Game was confirmed ahead of its second airing, as the final episodes have already been shot in advance.
In the second season, I found myself reappearing in the lethal game as Gi-hun, the previous victor, now determined to take down those accountable for everything that happened. A fresh crop of characters also joined the fray, adding intrigue and unpredictability to the series.
Viewers might have spotted a mid-episode scene during the season 2 finale that subtly suggested the comeback of the Red Light, Green Light robot schoolgirl character.
