To ensure success with her scheme, she might require a maximum number of disobedient players, which explains why she’s keeping player 246 alive. Her clashes with Park Hee-soon’s replacement as the Front Man in season 2 have made it obvious that she won’t work cooperatively with those managing the games. Yet, she has shown remarkable patience in searching for an appropriate moment to retaliate against her fellow guards. Although her plans for season 3 remain unclear, No-eul seems poised to significantly impact the series finale.

However, what truly has me on the edge of my seat is the tantalizing build-up towards No-eul orchestrating the downfall of these games from within.

Of course, the other players will continue to play significant roles in the series, potentially even joining forces with No-eul to bring about change. But the real excitement lies in witnessing her strategize and undermine the system from the inside. So far, she’s failed to win over other guards, but given that the players managed to fight back during the season 2 finale, it’s not impossible that she might be able to sway her comrades.

This is all speculation, of course, as the official plot details have yet to be revealed. But one can only imagine the drama and suspense that await us in the next chapter of Squid Game!

In the potential third season of Squid Game, No-eul could either make guards depart by persuading them or rally them to oppose the Front Man and VIPs, creating an intriguing conflict.
