On our first day filming Season 2, I recall thinking, “Amazing, I’m back in the universe of Squid Game.” It was almost like a dream. I’m curious if you, too, will have that same feeling after three years away from Squid Game. Our protagonist, Seong Gi-hun, who swore revenge at the end of Season 1, reenters the game. Can he carry out his vengeance? The Front Man doesn’t appear to be an easy adversary this time around.
Dong-hyuk concludes his message by stating that the intense conflict between their two worlds will persist in the series finale during Season 3, airing next year. I can hardly contain my enthusiasm as I watch the idea we conceived for a fresh Squid Game unfold and reach its climax in this story.
